It seems Meizu M1-Note phone will be launching soon in India. Meizu India facebook page is up and running. A contest is on till 21 March.
To compete with Xiaomi's Redmi Note, they will have to price it below Rs.10000 as it has the limitation of having a Mediatek Processor, no FM radio and no memory expansion slot. On the plus side, its display would be better than Redmi Note.
Good for the Indian Consumers.....competition heats up this summer ;)

about the sound with earphones plugged, I am experiencing it as well and I believe it is a software issue that I think can be fixed by a software update. we just don't know when will it be released. :-D
and the loose sim tray, every unit is like that. we all experience the same. so deal with it. :-)

bought mine a week ago. great crisp display, speedy, and considerable battery life. what I found annoying is the sound when an earphone is plugged in. a crackling/static sound can be heard during dead air. and the other is, my unit heats up quickly. it can start heating up after just a 5mins play of CoC, though the heat is tolerable. Other than those 2, this is a great find.
