Bought the phone mid December 2016. Meizu M3 Note is excellent!
Great quality pictures & videos from the phone. Great performance.
To install apps, download the apps from "vShareMarket" instead from Google Play.
But you need to get vShareMarket app from Google Play first.
Feels like having iPhone 6s Plus at much cheaper price.

I updated to flyme os 5.1.11.1 working good, no issues. no battery drain, but Jio VoLTE is still not working have to manually do it after every time switching on the phone. In 4g it's gives 5.30 + screen on time. On heavy usage.

FYI,
Meizu phone doesn't preloaded with all the Google features and this might be an disadvantages for certain user. But for me, I look at it as advantages.....
Reason: No need to have duplicated apps such as Gallery/Photo, Music player, Browser/Chrome and etc. This help to reduce RAM usage on those preload apps.
If user need any of Google apps such as Maps, Gmail or Chrome, it can be download from Play Store anytime.
Meizu user may complaint.... it didn't have preloaded with Play Store icon, how to download additional apps????
To have Play Store icon, goto HOT APPS and click to install GMS Installer.
After complete the process, will have Play Store icon and you can start download any apps that you need.

Meizu is lack of a lot of features I don't think it's good idea to buy. And their apps is not user friendly

I can't receive whatsapp notification, anyone knows what happen? Not only whatsapp... Other apps too .
Also, i tot that this phone battery life is really good but err not sure whether if is really good enough to last for two days, maybe one full day only, just like normal phone. But other than that i really love this note 3 compare to note 1 ,love the back button and the finger print!

I'll liked this cheap phone. All this years I liked trying to buy cheap phones. And I just bought this phone last night. I know a lot of people complaing about Google application not available on the phone. When I first time turning on the phone, I just update my phone from 5.1.3.3 to 5.1.3.4 and then goto Hot Apps you will see a popup an update available 2.0.1 just go ahead and update. After clicking that looked carefully above that say "Google Mobile Services hasn't been installed yet, which might affect your use of apps." and there is install button near it go ahead click install. That's it! Problem solved and I have no issues with it.

At the begging I really liked the phone. No bloatware, excellent usability. I would have given 5 out of 5 even though a lot of early reviews pointed to a lot hardware shortcomings. From usability viewpoint it was great. But after the recent upgrade (in November, 2016), I should say, that I would had to retract that. The upgrade is completely broken: notifications don't work, google maps is hectic, after wifi gets turned off it's impossible to get it back (as soon as you turn it on it goes off). I couldn't use anymore Android Wear (it doesn't start). It eats the battery much faster even though in the upgrade announcement they claim it should consume less battery (it used to last almost for 2 days, now hardly one). After the upgrade it was so bad that I had to "factory reset". But that didn't help much. I should note that the phone didn't have any of those issues before. It's quite sad that such a good product got abandoned by Meizu. Final verdict: 1 out of 5. Don't waste your money.

One of the finest phone I had, No ad by the manufacturer, but a very nice phoe. Aftr latest update battery life has improved tremendously. The single button operation with finger print sensor is a bliss to operate.
Would have bee happy if the phone could have bright colors.
