fellow MX4 User, if you havent tried the super mode option, you must try it. if you need to save battery, this is the best way to do it. you can only use call and text message in this setting. battery will run 3 to 4 days on full charge.

After using it 4 months... I still hate it
-doesn't support (MHL TV-out) as in writen in the specifications
- you have to press hard the screen to write!
-is not possible to use the cameras in power saving or balance mode..
- contacts edit not possible is you imported it from another phone..
- in high performance mode, the battery last few hours :o/
- shape slides all the time from the hands, so it's needed
to use a cover and then you have problems connecting
earphones or the usb :o/ HORROR
- home button problems
-Android apps are full of spam, Iphone and Lumia are much safer...
-nice phone but horrible system... slow, buggy...
-pros
-good camera but only in still mode :o/

I bought one of these last December after my trusty Desire HD died. The phone is good looking and had some promising specs and features, but then the disappointments started:
All SMS threads displayed a warning triangle in Handcent, which I could never make go away and I found Flyme less intuitive and functional than vanilla Android, so installed Nova. Language support is minimal aside from EN-US and Chinese (No UK English and no Norwegian, which are the two languages I use). After other Androids which are easily root-able and moddable, the Meizu was disappointing, with a builtin halfway "root" but no real tools or ROMS for any real customisation, which is needed to get rid of all the Chinese bloatware.
Then the problems started with the home button, which stopped working. As this is the only way to get back to the home screen from within most apps, this meant a reboot every time I needed to see it. despite this being a known hardware issue (see various forums) Meizu claimed that this was a software issue and that an upgrade would fix it... Multiple upgrades, with X- upgrades to the universal "A" version of the software as the "I" international version was lagging behind didn't fix the problem, but left me with even more Chinese bloatware and no way back to the "I" version.
I finally sent the phone back, through my dealer.
Two months later, still no phone. Meizu are now claiming that the malfunction is due to a scratch on the back cover, which I know did not cause trauma to the phone as I was there when it happened.
The verdict: Nice design and nice hardware in parts, but unreliable and appallingly bad service from Meizu. Steer clear!

Well,I've never actually been a maizu enthusiast,though,I'd say that the mx4 was good for its price,but it was definitely no LG G3 or like the Galaxy S5 ,all of which were flagships of 2014.....Nevertheless,the rumoured Bezel-less. Mx5 has got me pretty much psyched about its whole ideology,its unique design,improved engine and better functionality......I hope it pulls through.

Guys i have it about 2 weeks ! Until now i have nothing to complaint for ! It is a very good phone ! It wont lag , it wont get bugg !You really will be happy to have it on your hand and see it and playing with it ! I suggest this phone too much guys !

Only sucks me was the latest Flyme update the customization for themes are lost other than that ive no more complaint. So right now if i feel to change my homescreen ive switch to nova launcher ClearUI launcher also best and other desirable launchers. Thanks God theres plenty of choices in android world. The automatic brightness is not working and you're n telling that has no use. If the meizu team has reading this forum please return back the flyme themes. Thats it.
