Primary Camera with 5MP with Led Flash and f... moredude you really need to ck the specifications and pls watch the un boxing review of micromax a 100 on youtube. and about the question "yes" the phone has a 0.3mp camera for video calling on 3g services. according to me its worth a buy... i just got my phone today.. im sure u wont regret buying it...

        ashish, 27 Aug 2012r u sure ravy it doesn't play Hd movies ? coz most of the p... moredude, I think i ddnt use HD video properly..i mean i played an HD Song of Enrique (90MB File) "I Can feel your heartbeat" and this song wasnt streaming good..so i thought it ddnt play HD video well..i ll try again with other HD videos and reply u again with my feedback :)

              Please those who bought this mobile please install skyfire browser open and check whether flash videos are playing with skyfire video toolbar and tell me its working or not bcoz I am eagerly waiting to buy this mobile

                i thnk the company should add adobe flash plaYer and 720p hd recording and 1080p play back....and os and ram is enough..

                  it has been Some Days now that i own this canvas launched by micromax let me tell u guyz its really awesome , now that many have posted their views & said it all , i'll directly step to the pros & cons :-

                  PROS :-

                  1) based on ANDROID 4.04 ICS platform ( so now no
                  need to upgrade that micromax has given a direct
                  hit to ICS )
                  2) a) 5" & 5 multi touch capacitive touch screen (
                  wud mention here that it works smooth as butter)
                  b) the colors : yess ! as the brands name says
                  (CANVAS) it really has eye capturing 16 M colors
                  display with great brightness too.
                  3) 5 MP rear camera makes you capture more clearer
                  images, it has a 0.3 VGA camera on front for
                  video calling too which is a + point.
                  4) 1ghz single core processor adds more to performance
                  & HD gaming.
                  5) 512 RAM as the official site claims ( but half of it seems to be locked for internals while 300 of it is free for use i guess )
                  6) Internal memory : 4 GB of internal memory , of which 2 GB can
                  be used : i think its more then sufficient as ext mem is expandable to 32 GB.
                  7) well it has a dual sim too ,
                  8) speakers are not too lout but clear.
                  9) & connectivity ; works as fast as it can thru WIFI , the stock browser is good not the best , but then there is Opera
                  & chrome that can be downloaded thru the app market.
                  10) lat but not the least : Battery life : GUYZ this canvas is
                  gifted with a load of 2000 mAh Battery , which gives awesome 5 hrs of talktime & 180 Hrs of talktime , from morning i played games , watched HD videos , browsed for 4 Hrs & still my battery was drained only to 50 % until night.

                  Now lets come to some cons & get disappointed :-

                  1) 3.5 MM a**-hole jack { guyz i mean it }
                  a) Micromax claims here that it has a 3.5 MM universal jack though its a 3.5 MM jack i am unable to connect my sennheiser headphones/or external speakers to the mobile ( it pops out as soon as i connect them , this jack cant connect headphones having 3.5 MM universal jack . so guyz please dont buy this one if you are planning touse it as your music player ...its a total disappointment. :'(
                  b) the stock earphones are very cheap , & it has a bit long 3.5 mm jack which easily connects it to the mobile.
                  2) cant use the whole of 512 RAM , guyz if its a 1ghz processor then we aught to have at-least 512 of RAM , but 312 of RAM also works fine
                  3) a bit big then other handsets , but no worries i got used to
                  it in couple of days.

                  so here u see , it has 10 Pros & only 3 CONS ..9/10 is my rating ...wud've given it a 10/10 if provided with a perfect 3.5 MM jack ....SO MUSIC LOVERS BEWARE ,others grab it..the awesomeness is here ..n waiting for u :)

                  a very first android device on ICS to give such awesome specification only in the range of 10 K ....cheers

                    Ravy, 27 Aug 2012No It can't play HD in MX Player .. I tried it..but Sad to ... morer u sure ravy it doesn't play Hd movies ? coz most of the processors with 1 ghz are able to play HD movies in High Profile 4.1 encoded in H.264 format.

Just hooked it properly in to the phone. Ppl have problem bcz they ddnt hooked it properly am sure..as i did on first day :p thn i realized and pushed it more insite and got the both side buzzing with great quality of songs :)

                          Well Screen Resolution is V. Good as it is TFT.

                                  so many good comments making go crazy to sell N8 and buy this phone im bored using N8.I will go for it soon.....
                                  the problem is once we buy MM will launch another good phone :( sad ....

                                        justifies every penny. more comfortable than s3. but no dual core processor and ram is a bit low. otherwise it is definitely for all users.
