This is worth for 9.500rs or not.

How do you connect this phone to the pc via USB. It does not connect to my pc for music/photo transfers.

3g video calling not working
it is very weak point of the mobile
front camera vga available but 3g video calling not working.

Hi All,
Micromax A100 is now avilabe in all stores(price varies from stores to stores 10,600 to 11,600). I brought it from Vijay sales Thane (Rs-9800).so far good experience.. no hanging problems..

i m using dis phone and in my opinion it is awesum device i have evr seen in dis price bracket.processor is gud camera quality is gud awesum features available i recommend u all to buy dis device

Its really a very bad phone for those who need Performance. For those who need big screen, Average battery life and Tab look can go for this, for a price of 10K its worth for them. Those who need really a good performance with 1Ghz processor Just ignore this phone from ur wishlish. HTC Explorer is a worth for a price of 9K.

I have heard that micromax services are really bad,is it true ?
No doubt this product is really very good,but If Micromax wants to exist and lead in this competitive world,then their after sale service also must be good.

had anybody tried compass feature on mmx a100.i need to know really.some says it supports but some say it doesnt.so am confused.pls let me know whether it supports compass feature

Guys I waited long enough for this phone to come into stock. It didn't. While I researched, I came to know its original name, i.e. manufacturer name and its K-Touch, a purely chinese company so even thought of getting it ordered from there.
Then I saw the karbonn a 18. Phew, I was bowled over. I bought the karbonn a18 for Rs 9750/- last saturday and I'm so thankful I dint waste my buck on MM A100.
If its a budget phone, its nothing but a karbonn a18.

Can one use Skype Talk on this Smartphone? I only see Google Talk in the specification. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanlks

I have been using this mobile for 3 days.
So far I feel the mobile is a good buy for ~10k.
Pros:
In call voice quality is good. I am very particular about this!
The 5 inch screen is absolutely brillant, clear, and has nice viewing angles!! Didnt expect this much from this phone which doesnt boast of any display features like IPS or AMOLED.
The OS is very good. Phone performace is satisfactory without any lag.
3G/Bluetooth/WiFi are very good. I have used my phone for 200 MB of download from 3G in two days!
I have installed a lot of apps. The RAM is still showing some available space. Also most of the apps run smoothly.
Decent gaming.
The earphone quality is surprisingly better than expected. Also MMX seem to have fixed the 3.5 mm jack problem which some ppl complain.
Cons:
Assume the phone doesnt have a camera, if you want to buy. The 5MP camera takes pictures which are grainier than those taken with my old Motorola L7i (5 yrs back). Its that bad. Also its saved in an inverted format.
The charger given by MMX is not ok. It charges the battery upto 60% and then it kind of cannot charge fast. I worked around this problem by using an LG GS103 charger, which is rated as 5.1V, 700mA, against 5.0V, 800mA of MMX (believe the output from the charger is lower than 5.0 V, so this phenomenon). The charging with that charger completed in 1-1/2 hours approx.
Not sure if gps works. I didnt see gps signal, but maybe I didnt get to see it in a correct place, because others claim it works fine.
