instead of buying A100 go for sony mini pro above phone has a large screen but its resolution and ppi density sucks and A100 lags its camera quality is not that good

guys plz make u aware this mobile is only best for net not for gaming it's hang while playing ex temple run so think twice before u go for it as it has software problem as big thing always comes in small package not everytime with the money when matters

guys, another cos name wickedleak relised 5 incher mobile under 11000/rs. Specs n perfomance wise its superior than micromax. Buy n try . I hope u will regreat

raka, 15 Sep 2012Is der a solution for the auto rotate feature. My not work ... moreauto rotation is does work smoothly in a100 ....u jst hav to lean ur phone more dn 90 degree...in vertically and horizontly ...
auto rotation ...mess up many times in many phones...and irritate...so this time mmx decide...rotation of screen in some specific angle...

i wud like to start from....hardware....
i have two phone...micromax a100 and htc sensation xl.... huge differnce in brands....bt whn u really...use....no differnce...
htc screen - 4.7 inch ..mmx screen 5 inch
procesor..scropion 1.5ghz no core...mmx scorpion 1ghz vd no core
htc gpu adreno 205 , mmx gpu adreno 200
display super amoled 16m colors , mmx tft 16m colors
ram htc 784 ..user usage 588 ..mmx ram 512 user usage 388 ...
htc batter 1650 mh ..mmx 2000 mh
both touch response are same...
htc cost 28k mmx cost 10k
mmx a100 seems monster ph...bt use it as there capability...here guys...wanted to play hd games and some of are even does play without lag...bt whn dy buy samsung y in cost of 8k ..dy even cant think abt it...
mmx provide u great interface vd quality display ...use it as its capability..n never u wont regret..after all u bought mmx a100 not samsung s3 :)

saran, 15 Sep 2012im saran, i'm tottaly confused abot this device. can any on... moreHai saran,If ur budget is below Rs.10,000 ,without any doubt buy this phone,I am using this phone since 20 days.I am satisfy with this mobile bcoz I spent only Rs.9550 on this mobile and it is working fine.But you asked about the problems,the problems are
1)while charging it works crazy
2)less battery backup
3)red boarder flashing.
One thing is there r 3 to 4lakh apps available on google play for android mobiles that means there is no big difference between micromax a100 to other costly big display mobiles.Every app which is running on costly mobile is also run successfully on micromax a100.Ex ellent display.
I don't want to put all my money on costly mobiles,bcoz technology is changing day by day.Don't waste ur money yaar,I am surely say that this is really a wonderful mobile.

i ordered it on flipkart.com on 13 sep but they cancelled the order because of no stock from micromax. may the phone is discontinued.
