Hi Guys,
I just bought this phon one week ago. I am happy with its features. HD video working fine(480*800P). I have very good game experiance, Sound is good, Cam is good when u r outside. Sometimes, Processing become slow might me single core processor. Overall, I am happy with this phone in this price range.

All right guys here is the complete review of Micromax A100
It’s almost a week and I found that this phone deserve price tag of 18k,
Why????
It’s because configuration we have on Micromax A100 is almost same what is available on other Mid range handset of Samsung or any other brands, so hats off to that,
No let’s come to the PRONS & CONS,
It’s good to know that CONS are less then PRONS on Micromax A100,
Lets me inform you about the CONS first and then I will come to the PRONS,
1) 3.5mm Jack...yes guys I have tried many headphone of my old phones like Galaxys2,Galaxy Note,Nokia N8 and none of them was working with it, however standard MP3 player headphone like Philips,Cowon,Sony works absolutely fine...that simply means headphones with MIC are not compatible...so that a disappointment but not people who using Bluetooth Stereo headphones like mine Nokia BH500 and apart from that its auto connect every time with Bluetooth once you pair it with your phone not like Samsung Note or S2 where you have to sync it every time...so cheers for that.
2) Micromax A100 comes with 480 x 800 pixels and 1 GHz CPU and coz of that you cant play HD videos of 720p or 1080p...using default Video Player,
Have tried many apps to play HD Videos and was unable to but the strange thing is when I tried to play MKV AND MP4 files of 700p or 1080p below the file size of 450MB its works absolutely fine using VPlayer and Dice Player but it failed to play file size of more than 500MB,
one more thing, some players comes with advance option like an option to manually select Hardware Decoder and Software Decoder so you can play all these 720p or 1080p below 450MB videos by selecting software decoder...HD YouTube Downloaded videos also works without any lags using these players.
3) Lack of hard key (Home Key)....while playing HD videos using hardware decoder handset was frozen completely and every time i have to restart it and that was really a pain.
4) Its does load internal memory storage but it doesn’t load Memory Card storage on your PC for data transferring inserted it in my SG Note and then I transfered all my songs and videos...I really don’t know why its doing like this...have tried on my laptop too and had the same issue.
5) RAM its shows 512mb ON GSMARENA…you get only 387MB…and after system usage you get only 150MB - 200MB to use which is not bad...that means multi tasking is possible but upto certain limits,
6) GPU rendering is too good for HD gaming…so no issues while playing compatible HD games like GTA 4th Anniversary etc,
7) Voice clarity on call is also good…so far no issue.

No here comes the PRONS of Micromax A100,
1) With TFT capacitive touch screen, 16M colors Micromax A100 is like a gem in its own way. You can’t really believe that its a Micromax phone, it just look like a HTC One X or SGS3.
2) Music Player is very nice but search option is missing however its very user friendly
3) Audio Output with good quality headphones is mind blowing, by default it comes with MusicFX plug-in pre installed just like high end Samsung phones,
4) Camera quality is not really impressive but its fair…same goes to video capturing,
5) Micromax A100 Screen is very touch sensitive…you will not experience any lag at all.
6) Internet browsing on pre installed ICS browser is fast enough…so there is no need to install any 3rd party browser
7) Wi-Fi HOTSPOT is no listed on GSMarena…but let me inform you guys that there is a Wi-Fi Hotspot too,
8) FM is also available
Conclusion: This phone is going to be an inspiration for other known brands. This phone is really justifying its cost. M really in love with my new Micromax A100 and I am happy with my right decision.
So guys decide and take your steps ahead and get one for yourself.

rahul, 04 Sep 2012hi vamshi .At which shop u bought the a100 at rs9500 in hyd... moreI don't remember the shop name. Need to check the reciept. But is it just adjacent to AMORI which is about 100-200 meters away from TV9 office.

Is this model MMX A100 worthy to buy when compared to other brands like samsung, sony, karbonn etc when we consider the price range as max 10k

it has a mediatek processor 1 ghz(single core).. not qualcomm scorpion.. and adreno 200 gpu.. bluetooth 3.0..
