i bought this cell. n seriously guys d perfect competitor for the galaxy grand. n also at price half of it. i hav bth of dem n grand is a bit slw dan canvas. If you wanna buy this surely go for it.

I am using this mobile since last November. I am not facing any problem like people telling here.
In fact i flashed 4-5 times ROM but its still working genuinely.
OK battery backup little concerned here.

I have been using Micromax canvas 2 and have been facing the problem . From the very 1st month the phone contacts were not uploading for more than 30 to45mins after switching it on. i contacted the service centre so they said it happens with all smartphones and to get for software upgradation which is nothing but a factory reset which is done.Till date 2 times the factory reset has been done to my phone.. I think micromax is an upcoming good company thy should address these problems and pull back this phones from custormes who r facing problems and give them an upgraded phone instead .

i know it lags , this mobile uses a mtk6577 chipset which is already considered old and slow,
you woul find these old mediatek chipsets in China mobiles
they say its 9.7 cm thick but honestly it looks pretty fat unlike the pictures

i got this ph on 10th nov 2012, still now it works awsum. Suprb ph...Those who talk lyk rubish first lrn to hndl android phs. 4 of my frnd also bought this ph by january this yr, dy r also very hpy wid this.....
