Micromax has launched the new Micromax A116 Canvas HD at a press event held in Delhi. Priced at Rs. 14,999 , the device would go on sale on 1st week of Feb and will be available via all the major retailers across India, as well as all the major online stores.

-5 inch 1280 x720 pixel display
-2100 mAh battery
-16 million color IPS display
-Android Jelly Bean 4.1
Though, the RAM of the device is still unknown, but we’ll try to get an idea about it when we go hand’s on with the device in just a short while from now.

Here's update of the day
"Micromax Canvas II has been a hot selling smartphone for us and we plan to launch a Canvas smartphone every two months from now on-wards. We are currently selling around 5,500 Micromax Canvas 2 handsets daily and have started testing Micromax Canvas 3. I will not be in a position to share the exact time frame by when Canvas 3 will be launched. But do expect something around March."

Micromax A110 8 pixel camera is not good and some dark shade comes in photos and videos and it is not giving natural look. This is the major mistake, Nokia & samsung 2 pixel camera quality is better than this. Hope micromax team will rectify this in next build.
