A call from my friend who is using Canvas 2 - Amazing it was a skype call from 2G pack (Airtel) - Jaw dropping.. I would surely get this next month.. (over 3 of my friends bought this over 1 week)!! Amazing Indian Phone to get a first hand experience on Andriod - Watch out other companies this would make the expectation more from India... Good Luck Micromax..

Want to increase speaker volume of your mobile here's the tip:
dial *#*#3646633#*#*
then go to Audio>Loudspeaker Mode>scroll down and change Max Value to 150 then press Set. Its done. Feel the drastic change Right now.

Here is a basic find outs of Micromax Canvas 2 A110….
So... Finally after a detailed 10 days research and considerations I have my Canvas 2 deliver to me by buytheprice.com in 6 days time which I believe is not bad at all!
The packaging was absolutely safe and the Micromax factory packaging was excellent. It was as good as any other reputed brand name, in fact much better and compact and environment friendly as it was compact and the space used was only for the space needed! On unboxing I find an elegant device properly wrapped in a thin polythene envelop and the screen and the camera lens carefully covered with a sheet of protective plastic screen guards. The small container holding the phone is velvety and I would rate the overall packaging a whopping 10/10. Basics well managed Micromax!
I switch on the monster after inserting the battery and the screen glows up in a vibrant mix of colors... Impressed yet again as the device takes minimum time to boot up and the battery is showing at 52% and it took me about 4 hours to completely drain the charge while using it continuously and curiously opening everything possible. And again as per few comments I was worried about the battery taking about 4 hours to get fully charged and again I would like to make it clear that it took me exactly 2 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge my device for the first time!
This is my first touch screen phone and to my dismay I'm surprised to find out that it took just over a minute for me to get accustomed to the touch features/sliding/adding and removing widgets and apps in the home screen! Absolutely awesome as I haven't even been through the user manual provided in the box and I'm already familiar with the UI. The processor is fairly decent and I think 512 Mb RAM is just enough for moderate users like me. What else do I need at a price which is well below the prices of other 5 inch smart phone having almost the specs!
I have been through numerous reviews and comments on the camera quality in poor light conditions and I'm not at all disappointed with this under 10K device as I took my first shot in a dimly lit conditions at 2 am in the night and the picture quality dropped the jaw of my roommate who was surprised to see his picture turning out to be absolutely satisfying as he asked me to transfer this picture to his device and he updated his Facebook profile picture with the same! So it basically it proves the camera to be of good quality on this android.
The settings are well managed and the phone seems great! The build quality is superb and after all what do you expect from a device which you own at a mere 10k? I tried browsing the internet by inserting my 2G Airtel sim and it worked just fine and I was really satisfied with the display and webpage quality. I have also been through couple of comments on the device being too big.. But what I really think is you are not forced to buy this device and it’s your choice and need to own a 5 inch phablet. I find it very convenient and it will be a great companion when I will be needed to reply to my mails and stay connected to social Medias when I'm out.
Also I would like to clarify that the loud speaker is absolutely fine in this device and the sound quality and equalizer options are too good to be true! If the device was a bit louder than it would have sounded no different than the irritatingly loud Chinese handsets that you get for 2000 bucks in Khidderpore!
If you expect it to be efficient like a Samsung note/galaxy then you are probably barking at the wrong tree :) I have used a Micromax Q5 2 years back as suggested by a friend who owns a mobile store when I was hoping to own a Sony Ericsson for the amazing camera and sound outputs. He convinced me to go for the cheaper Q5 and I never regretted even after the trackball got stuck and I failed to find a Service Center in Kolkata. It was a great value for money phone... And now I’m very sure that Canvas 2 won't disappoint me at all! Lastly, I would like to thank and congratulate Micromax India for coming up with brilliant low cost high-end Android handsets which I think is going to rule the Indian market in future if you guys could only excel on the after sale customer services.
