DON, 10 Jan 2013right said ...I agree with what you have to say... If Micromax releases upgraded version of this phone with 1 GB RAM and 16GB Internal storage i sure this will rock the smartphone market... I have installed so many games on this which works like charm...!!!!!!

I own this phone since ~20th Dec '12. I purchased this purely because it was the best value for money phone available and I found no sense in spending 32K for a Galaxy S3.
This phone is perfect for browsing, calls, texting, listening to music [play with that equaliser settings and see the difference] and watching movies/videos on youtube. Also use the phone a lot for email, using Facebook, reading pdf books, etc..
For daily use such as above, there is NO lag and the phone does not slow down. 512mb RAM is is a disadvantage only for skool kiddos who want 2gb games on their phone and keep playing it all the time. Other than this, there is no visible defaults or defects with the phone.
I've typed a lengthy email on gmail app when music was playing in the background [on earphone] and I didnt notice any lag. No lag when watching videos either [1080P on VLC player].
OTG also worked great with the phone. Note: when playing a movie from a usb pendrive connected via OTG cable, the movie framerate somewhat stutters but ONLY when playing through MX player. If you play the same video from USB via VLC player, it is butter smooth and pefect.
Call volume is good and calls can be recorded, I guess [there is an option in the menu, but haven't tried].
What else do you need in a device for 10K? Instead of crying foul, go spend 32K rupees and get a Galaxy S3 and then cry when touchwiz makes you go mad..

I am using this from past 2 months, Great mobile with great features at wondeful price. Till now I have not faced problem. Camera Quality is amazing, Bluetooth conectivity is also good and internet connection is also very fast. Hats off to Micromax for giving us such a great mobile. I Love it.
