Ravi, 09 Jan 2013This is very nice. Hereafter no need to use china products,... moreThis is a china made chipset phone base price at most 4k . mmx sell at 10k.. it is late 2010 to 2011 stats.. its screen is 800 x 480 because any higher it will lag badly.. regardless jellybean update or not.

Its a phone with amazing specs,descent build quality and competitive price...something which is perfect for an average budget conscious India buyer...Hence it has become very popular in India. It is not available worldwide but in some South east Asian countries with different brand names(its a Chinese made and re-branded device)
Why is it at top of the charts on GSMARENA?
Well..GSMARENA is accessed worldwide...Intuitively people tend to click on the fones in the rating list..giving more hits for this fone from fone freaks worldwide...and thats how it is on top of the charts....
But honestly..its a well made device...though it cant be totally compared to other high end fones..it serves ur needs for a lower price...I own one of these and it works like a charm...

hi frnds i bought this phone .....
this is Awesome phone plays every game smooth touch and even my frnds who hated micromax sold their galaxy y and ace and bought 4 phones for them
and guess what games that not working in note 2 works in this a110 .....
i shud suggest to all of u best phone of rs 10000 with one yr warranty and i guess its h everyone .......
buy and have fun why to spend extra hard earn money in brands which cannot even g all features we want

I was shocked how this low priced phone make it to the top of the charts. Is it really that good?

Since it is Micromax, i am not confident about the quality of the hardware as well as after sales service as i have had extremely bad experiences of Micromax service station. They do not believe in customer satisfaction. They are just there to make money. They did even asked me to pay for the part which was working fine before giving my phone for other fault repair. This is the biggest drawback of Micromax even if it is Indain company and not Chines. They waved of the charge after i got angry. It should not have happened man. Very poor service.
I think their motto is to offer handsets of good configration but of low quality at low price which will surely lead customer to service station and charge them for no reason. Not acceptable at all.
