because in Phones Video player you will get whitish playback.
In Developer options tick the following options 'Disable HW overlays' and 'Profile GPU rendering' then all games and applications will play using GPU instead of CPU

Some improvement tips:
Upgrade to 4.1.1(Jelly bean) as fast as you can then some more new features you can see and very smooth interface.
Download MX player and install its correct codecs then make some changes in MX player settings as colour format in YUV and CPU core limit in '4' and set S/W decoder as default. And compare the video playbac

Hi. As the Camera is 8MP I will give it 85% nice, but using flash in night distance above 1 metre you cannot get bright full images. If you take photo in near distance, then image is simply excellent.
At starting the video camera quality is defaultly set in 640×480, after you change it in fine quality then 1280×720 will come.
And the Screen is IPS LCD LED touch screen and its quality is as like as Samsung S Duos.
Till now iam mind blowing that how did Micromax developed in mind blowing range.its awesome
