First, go to "Tethering or portable hotspot" and turn it on. Then turn on ur laptop's wifi and search for available networks till u get ur phone's name and then connect. It will definitely work.

can any one plzz tell me the exact backup of the battery. bcozz some of my frends told me that the micromax a110 battery life is very bad ,they are telling me that if we use internet the battery charge will finish with in an hour

Bot this phone finally yesaterday...works well...I tried to connect to a WiFi network using Connectify on my Laptop with a 3G dongle...but it doesnt work...its reamins in 'obtaining IP Address ' mode and the stops saying that 'Avoided due to bad signal'. Altough, the connecxtion strenght was shown to be excellent. Does anyone know if there is any known issue about this kinda connectivity...or is it just a problem with my hardware
P.S. Havent tried Wifi on a regular router...

Very bad phone
Screen resolution is bad
very less ram should have had 1 GB
Battery doesn't lasts much and takes lots of time to charger
sometime Fails to detect camera
Very bad service center service
it takes almost month to repair
Instead buy some Samsung phones with smaller screen sizes this phone has same hardware as that of Samsung phones only screen in big with same resolution as that of 4" screen size phones
