last month i bought a MMX A100, which had same prblm. on reset, it was solved (be sure, U had backup of contacts to memory card b4 reset..!)
Unfortunately, my A100's earpiece speaker gone in 26days of purchase & to b fortunate, bought it frm flipkart, who had d 30days replacement guarentee, so, returned d A100 & got my money credited bck..! thinking of buying d A110 nw frm Flipkart...

This phone is awesome....touch is fluid....most apps run seamlessly....obviously you don't want to try out HD gaming on this phone,but MC3 worked quite well.
The only possible downside could be the screen resolution, but when I held my Samsung galaxy note, and this phone side by side, I wouldn't say that the difference in screen res is worth paying three times the money.
Overall, awesome phone, no complaints.

Dnt confuse, go fr MMX A110..it s superb..Dnt even thnk fr Sony....Always software problem, battery problem. It s my personal experience. I used four sony mobiles and my sister used two models all are same in quality.

[deleted post]sorry !!!! and the answer is a big no...this handset cannot be upgraded to jb 4.1...the reason being that it has only a pathetic 512 mb of random access memory

using it since a fortnight and feels awesome...
runs all the apps u wish to..
no feature exposing a chinese phone behaviour :P
but remember only 2.5GB is available to install apps..
no app can be transferred to EXTERNAL MEMORY..
buy it if u wish to have a phone similar to S3...
But if u want a phone more compact than this with more memory, the get a look of MICROMAX A90S
