Micromax canvas h.d is a set of junk. Terrible customer service..cheap.
I brought a canvas h.d on may this ur 2013 after 10 days it stopped charging. I went to the service center and they said the mother board is gone. They made me wait for 2 months and for 2 months I was without a phone.
I mailed them called customer service but nothing did they do.after 2 months they finally gave me my gone with a replaced mother board. It was again a defective piece.the screen goes off when I am in the middle of a call. The flash of camera doesn't work. Its pure waste of money and by ng a pain.cheap hardware quality even worst than the low grade Chinese phone. I W d suggest never waste ur money on any of mmx products.

Hello all,
I bought this phone in April 2013... Was confused at that time, reading through all the reviews in various blogs as I was not sure about Micromax. But now I can confirm that this is really really awesome phone. It fell 3 times from my hand even though I was not having flip cover or case, but now it's working perfectly. Battery backup is same as other android phone. Touch is not that much good if u compare it with nexus or Samsung smart phones. But everything else is good. While playing heavy games like temple run oz, it never hung.
But there is a problem with the GPS which I have heard was fixed after its update was launched.. Another demerit is that it's internal memory is very low. They should have at least given 8GB..

I bought a Micromax A116 HD mobile, started using.. Nice phone it is.
But after 2 days while using skype video call, the front cam got crashed.
Now my both cameras are not functioning. I hope it may be solved after I updates it.(Not updated till now)

Hello every one i have seen many people commenting about micromax service centre has any one did get their phone back from service centres because my phone is still in the service centre from past one month still no information about getting it back they took it telling mother board if any body have got their phone back then plz reply because i have a doubt wether we will get it back r not

pls clarrify in class10 memory card application directly download to external card or download phone then we moved what is the procedure? some apps didnt move example Facebook.

After reading some comments about class 10 microsd cards using in hd 4.2 today i bought sony 16gb class 10 card for rs.980.i replaced it to my old transcend 8gb class 4 card.But to downloaded application again directly stored phone memory.after download i moved to external card.but some users told in class 10 memory card application directly download to external card.what is the procedure ?i am little confused pls help me guys .if not worked then y we used class 10 card .these same already worked my class 4 card.pls help me

Guys its a gr8 phone... Im using it fr past 3 months... No lags... There is a lot of advantages i would say than the disadvantages ... Best phone in my perspective ... Loudspeaker quality is a bit low nd camera nt really 8mp but its really good after the update... Nd specially after the update u can save the apps to external sd... Nd display color have been improved in the update... Nd inbuilt kingston office pack have been added... Also no lags after the update too... I updated my phone in the service centre..

When i connected my switched off device to Laptop to update to JB 4.2 the mobile charges the battery but the lap doesnt download the update ?? it keeps searching but no download even after 15 minutes and after switching the USB cable to all ports in Laptop !! Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance.

I cant sync my gmail or fb contact in canvas hd a116.... when i sync it it never shown contacts...wht am i do????

I have recently purchase this phone and I think i have made a big mistake at last.
within a month it got problem with Motherboard and Battery and Customer Care is taking lot of time to respond to my problems. From a month I am pursuiting to customer care and no positive results yet.
It is my humble request to you all, do not purchase any Micromax Product...
