I totally agree with u that Grand is better in terms of Camera..
But what shame u talking about ?? Shame of giving OTG Support which is not there in Grand ? Shame of Being 5-6k less than Grand ? Shame of .having a True HD Screen ? Shame of having a better pixel density than grand ? or shame of supporting high end games and also not to mention "SUBWAY SURFER" or.. I missed one thing .. R u talking about the shame of rolling out 4.2.1 Update before Grand ???
Dude ur experience was justified that u need a better pic quality ..y dont u go and buy some cam at around 6-7k and buy some smartphone from the rest of the money saved .. (Just a sincere suggestion).
Dont just bash Micromax by disliking one feature.. I will tell u one more feature disliked a lot "After sales service" . Except for these things.. Micromax isn't behind Grand ..Pls accept it.. Also just notice Samsung's attention on Grand..obv it is less because of itz upcoming flagships.. This may hamper Grand.

Camera quality is good in day/...but in the evening or in night its very bad..

You may also get good Digital Camera for Rs.3000. Don't give silly reasons for Micromax HD is inferior. Even after updating with 4.2.1 the quality of camera picture is vastly improved. When you compare with Samsung Grand you consider other things also. I have also got Samsung Galaxy Tab 3100 bought for Rs.20000. When compared with this tab, Micromax HD for Rs.14500 is far far better. Am so happy with the performance of this MMX HD handset. I want to sell out the SG Tab now.

company is saying micromax canvas 4 is having 13MP rear camera.
they cant even give proper 8MP cam and now they are talking about 13MP.
Its just copying what samsung is doing.
clearity of 8MP fitted on canvas HD is equal to those samsung having 5MP..
Now in canvas 4 its saying 13MP so practically it may be of same quality fitted on grand which is 8MP..
why to spend 18.5K if you are getting same thing in samsung grand at 17.5K.
Shame on micromax..
im saying this because i was once owner of canvas HD but camera quality sucked.. but now im using grand..
guys whoever is trusting micromax on camera basis..pls compare images and video clips (indoor and outdoor) pratically dont just belive camera specifications without watching watching pratcical images.

sri, 02 Jul 2013good phone Ya I am using it for 15 days never faced any issues, display is awesome, better performance ,can able to take full HD video us with good clarity, camera is not good in low light.. .its really a nice phone......don't compare with Samsung galaxy s3 or HTC one x which are priced twice....but this phone had almost the features as those......

Pls do not buy Grand..Canvas HD is much better than that..display, color resolution, speed, camera click are way better than grand. Even no heating issues. Mast mobile hai Canvas HD.
But if u r having the issues like others have abt Canvas HD like charging..display..speaker..then u choice either compromise or sale it. Bcoz in 13,500 nobody gives such a good fone.(saying good bcoz the config at this low range is rarely seen)

Never ever buy a micromax phone. Woooorst service ever i have faced. My canvas hd touch screen suddenly failed and i gave for service. The chennai service center has no spare to replace. They told it will take 20 days. I waited for 20 days and when called back they said the spare is not yet available. when i called delhi customer care, they said it will take 15 more days. The phone is just 1 month old and now it lies in service center for 1 month.

After reviewing the above statements, I Am shocked. I was thinking that only my phone is troubling and am facing problem but there are numerous complaints against this brand.
I had purchased A-116 HD mobile on 5-4-2013 and from the first day it was giving problem but I thought It is my mistake and I am unable to handle such a smart phone. I started visiting shop from where it was purchased but they could not find out the problem even after 4 visits lastly they sent me to the service center. You would not believe that the staff of the service center too could not find out the problem and they simply reloaded the software, saying the problem might be caused by software.
Problem of my phone is it is working automatically. its touch is defective, it is come to notice when I showed them its video.
one day when my phone started functioning automatically and was typing or pressing buttons itself or I was pressing one character but phone was showing/pressing 4 to 10 character rapidly etc.
Since then(07-06-2013) I am waiting for my phone, today is 25-06-2013 but still waiting. No proper reply from the service center.
I do not have any option except to wait till I can or go to Consumer forum after that.
