This is a very good phone but need to improve the UI..Samsung Made a good UI but their phones' build Quality is not that good...Respect of Build Quality MMX and Gionee is better....but Nokia is not comparable with these phone...Nokia is Nokia....super Build Quality...It is one of the company which is taking care of their reputation for those they are....So keep nokia out of this matter....No one can touch the nokia.

Service is good enough...but u guys r not good enough,so they reacts u in dat way...

Micromax Canvas HD has better battery backup than Samsung Galaxy Grand because the processor is made in such a way to conserve battery without compromising the performance. It's MediaTek 6589 which is clocked at 1.2Ghz quad core based on cortex A7. A7 saves power because the DMIPS of A7( DMIPS is: used to measure the units of the computer chip. DMIPS the greater the value, the stronger the CPU data processing capabilities)is 1.9 which is enough for a smoother performance. Galaxy Grand has a dual core A9 processor. A9 processors can't conserve battery life due to DMIPS being very high which is 2.50 but it has only two cores, Micromax A116 Canvas HD has quad core processor, means four cores clocked at 1.2Ghz(DMIPS: 1.9) So you're getting better performance on Canvas HD and better battery backup than in Samsung Galaxy Grand. My Micromax A116 Canvas HD gives at least 7 hours and thirty minutes of battery backup on heavy usage, especially, gaming, with all the wireless networks off except "airplane mode.''

I noticed that throughout the night just because my data connection was on.. My battery dropped to 2% every morning... Same was the case with my xperia neo v..
But in canvas2 and canvas hd.. This is not the case.. When u r not using the phone.. there won't be single percentage of the battery difference.. And as far as grand is concerned.. I have read on the forums that some people are facing battery backup issues.. Please go through it..

meet1411, 28 May 2013well ihv to buy new phone till d range of 15k..which should... moreU can trust on canvas hd for this budget.. It is I can say high end mobile in 15k range.. My battery is working fine.. I play subway surfer almost whole day, surf Internet for say 3-4 HOURS, not continuously though... I charge my phone once mostly.. Sometimes twice..

Mmx canvas hd has 8k manufacturing cost.. And it costs 14-15k...
Difference lies in the transportation taxes and all..
And ur shop must be using CHEAP processors for repairing.. Our units don't have cheap stuffs.. Not even a cheap feature..

[deleted post]For your information, the processor Micromax uses in their phones aren't Chinese, dude. They use MediaTek processor. MediaTek is a Taiwanese semiconductors company. It's also one of the largest processor manufacturer in the world. Please be updated before posting such adjectives.

Prem, 28 May 2013I newly bought this device in 13000 RS & having great e... moreWhen you first buy a phone you've to drain the battery to 0 percent and then charge your phone for at least 6 hours. It took your battery to get charged fully within 4 hours which isn't bad. My battery was 8 percent at 4:56 PM, put it on charge at 5:00 PM, and at 7 PM the battery got full charged to 100 percent.
