The set is pretty good as compared to the price . Its a decent set with so many features , I am using the handset for the last 10 months still haven't face any problem except the battery . Well the battery is the only factor that has annoyed me about micromax , bought a new one after 6 months of usage . Well if you are looking for a device packed with features a116 is the set for but if you are looking for a set to run for 5-6 years its too early to recommend this handset . But still now I am very much satisfied with the handset .

i have purchase micromax A116 Canvas HD last year in jully 2013 now i have battery problem , the battery has become fat, is it i have to show to service center or buy a new battery

The batter is really pathetic.. The battery performance went down within 2-3 months and the serivce centre did not own any responsibility.
And as others have mentioned, after 6-7 months, the battery time reduced to about half an hour and then I noticed the battery has swollen to double thickness and a gel like substance peeking out.
Pathetic. Spend a few hundred more and better to get a branded phone even if it's with slightly lower specs.

I purchased thru f*****rt. Within 3 months started facing network prblm. While searching manual it shows error. Went to ser center they opened the seal in front of me and told that u hav already done the service sum where. i argued and told that i wil fight legally. Thn they enquired abt my purchase. Wen i said its thru f******rt. Then they accepted it. I felt somthng fishy between micromax n f******rt. Aftr 50 days i got my phone back. Nw lets wait n see. So dont go for it. Stil u want atleast nt thru f*****rt. Its my xperience

Worst Company is Micromax.
My batter swallowed within 6-7 months.
Spot on screen.
And battery backup is only 10-15 minutes even a year is not gone from purchasing.

My canvas hd working is good but this phone battery bacup is too bad to use charging is come just 3 Howers in a day so please replay how can use this phone & i want 3000 mah battery in this phone.....

it is worst phone i ever seen because for 2 reasons
1. when play songs for 30min then it gets hanged and never come out from the loop even i pressed several times power button.
2. sensors front end not working even after making call display not shown so that i cannot be able to make an end to the call.

After this open app and choose your fevorate font and dload it, it just in kbs , and set this after this your phone will be reboot .... And see the magic........
