Some immediate steps of improvement for battery power backup (from very low 6hours) and inbuilt memory capacity to this phone is needed.
Otherwise, umi x2 might swallowed the whole mmx HD market shares once released in India by late April /early May 2013.

Buyermmx, 28 Mar 2013got my A116 today ...its not able to play the 720p videos..... moreinstall MMX player or VLC media player from Play Store.... the audio and video mismatch are probelm with your file...

how about lags with 1080 videos. sometime mine actually freeze.

The computing giant, Lenovo has a strong footing in the Chinese market in the smartphone department and the company has just launched the S920, a budget quad core smartphone that is all set to create a lot of waves in the Chinese market as well as the global markets. It has 5.3 inch screen of 720p resolution and will be a device that challenges the Micromax Canvas A116 HD for the throne.
The mid ranger has the same heart as the A116. It has 1.2 GHz quad core Mediatek processor doing the duty inside it and it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box. The RAM stands at 1 GB. Lenovo has not disclosed any details about the smartphone’s global roll out, but seeing that the computing giant has a presence all over the world, the device will soon reach other markets as well.
The smartphone has a 8 megapixel camera at the rear which gets coupled with a 2 megapixel camera up front for video calling, sel portrait shots and vanity checks. The sartphone gets a 2,250 mAH battery which shall be just enough to last for almost a day. The HD screen drains out the battery quite fast so eventhough the battery may seem great to hear about in the first place, the real world performance might just be a bit of an issue.
The smartphone runs on a slightly tweaked skin from Lenovo. The company has not disclosed the details about its internal memory as of now but we think it might just be 4GB like the Canvas HD or Lenovo might just give it 8 gigs of internal storage to make the deal sweeter. It gets a microSD card slot as well to expand the memory upto 32 GB and will come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G to serve the connectivity department.
It has the same internals as the Canvas HD but instead has a bigger screen and a better quality seeing the fact that it is a Lenovo smartphone. The tech giant has a wider service network which would surely help the company. It should cost around Rs.15,000 to make it a success and this might just be the smartphone that changes Lenovo’s fortunes in India.
