So frens after using my MICROMAX CANVAS HD for a day,evening n night I wud lik 2 share my xperiance abt dis cell....nw lemme tell u 1 thing dat in my post m not comparing dis handset wid any other handset as I knw dat dis page has become a battleground for many smartphon lovers of different BRANDS...so peace bro .So I recieved my canvas hd yesterday .Packaging was alrite but de shud hav done it better .inside beside d mobile I got 1 handset pouch(not flipcvr) simple one,Wat can u expect if it is free product.Nxt abt d handset proper I got Blak n white one ..Well I read in other post dat complete white one is also der, so my bad luk.I must say d handset felt really good in hands,weight was fine not so heavy not so light,slim,trust me guys it felt slimmer dan Canvas 2(my frend had 1) may b becoz f built quality.M not going 2 say more abt external appearance u all knw abt it.Let me get 2 d points-
Thumbs up-
-Solid build,no sqeeky sound(premium feel).I wish I cud hav dat complete white canvas hd.
-Its fast really fast...starting n setting up d mobile was really fast didnt take much time.
-Now abt display quality...Man I loved d beautiful display. D resolution is really realy 100+ .Its very Sharp.Bright ...U can adjust it also it has auto brightnes.Outside also I was able to see everything quite nicely.
-Regarding sound quality....it was nice .Dont knw wy people say dat its sound quality is bad ....actually it is only when u put d phone down covering its speaker(placed in d back lower part f d phone).D given headphone quality is average but, but its sound quality is good trust me ,if u dont lik d headfone den buy a new headphone.I used my other In-ear headfone which worked nicely.In my handset no Sound related issues.
-Camera- Hmm I think everybody thinks dat dis types of phone cannot give nice camera ...but looking at d photo n video quality I can say dat it is enuf for day to day photography ....advice- wen u use stok camera software 1st just tap d middle f d screen n let it focus,wen focus is complete (shown by green square in d middle f d screen) den tap in d capture button.Trust me photo will come really nice ..or u can install INSTAGRAM frm playstore,it really gives nice picture.N also c clicking d photo in HDR mode
-Gaming is one part wer I loved the ability of d phone to run d HD games. I installed Temple run 2,subway surfer,RR3.....m going download more lik dead trigger,frontline commando, crood .Afterwards m going 2 post abt it ...its nice playing such games in dis mobile afterall large screen u knw, only problem may b its 1.77 gb internal memory ...But u all knw u can root it n swap d memory wid external memory.
-Internet-No problem in dis segment....both 2g n 3g are working f9...Advice -u can install Dolphin browser its really gud .I hav installed other browsrs frm playstore, its upto u .I was able 2 play HD videos frm youtube wid no problem.Com on wat du u need more dan dat seriosly.
-GUys m really happy to say dat my google map n GPS r working nicely ....I read dat few f d model had GPS problem ,bad luk 4 dem .
-Wifi -no issues wid wifi ...I was able 2 connect 2 my laptop thru wifi....Also wifi hotspot n tethering is working nicely.. No bluetooth issues...no USB connectivity issues.

-Battery- I must say dat m writing dis section under thumbs down becoz I think its battery backup cud hav been little better dan dis ....But u all know dat Android devices dont hav gud battery backup so seeing dat I can giv Canvas hd 6.5 out of 10.Remember its all upto u how u use d mobile coz surfing WEB ,playing Games,Long talk obviosly drains out large amount f power.
-Memory-Well 1.77 GB user internal memory is low....I think for heavy gamers it will b really really low.But for normal guy who dont play heavy games its enuf .....But I m a heavy gamer so I think later m going 2 root my phone and swap the internal memory wid external one ...Hey 1 advice it will b gud if u use class 10 micro SD cards as it was mentioned in a video in youtube...
Well M enjoying my CANVAS HD,I hope U all do d same n guys Regarding Rooting,memory swaping or facing problems wid GPS or WIFI OR DISPLAY or any other,try to find the solution first in youtube...,I think u might b able to find d solution.

Friends I used this phone from last 24 hrs but disappoint from three things
Poor battery backup
GPS is not working
Sound quality is average both call and music
I m using my Nokia n86 from last four yrs but its music is awesome GPS locks in seconds also sound at far end of user is clear then canvas HD.
Plus points are
Display is very good
Speed is very fast and smooth

Micromax have not launched a phone having compass (magnetometer sensor). All samsung android phones starting INR-6000 have built in compass.

Hi all I got A full white canvas HD from Snapdeal.
Back panel is nice with Matt finish.
Looks similar to s3 when viewed from front.just the bottom touch buttons looks different

u cant move application to sd card ,
app 2 sd also not working .
only way is to root phone , nd do swap memory card function ,
having some tuts n youtube also ,
thn it will smoothly wrks 2-5gb games , sure
