if you don't want to wait, check XOLO Q800, having the same space.
Or i will say, if you going for non branded phone, than go for UMI X2 rather than to wait for this chines phone.

people who have used the phone, can both sims be used simultaneously in this one? i mean if one is on call, can we receive call on other or does it still show not reachable?

Micromax came out with 9000 sets when it launched A116 at 12 am on 14th Feb,13. Within 15 minutes all the 9000 sets were sold.
Who so ever booked after that has to wait for 25 working days approx. I booked it on 15th Feb 13 and got it on 11th march, 13.
Its really a fantastic phone. very fast, never hangs up even with 2G sim.
superb visuals.

I am dealing here with the problem of low volume on loudspeaker.
Your code worked and i could change the settings as well.
But when i click on Audio it asks for
Normal Mode
Headset mode
Loudspeaker mode
Headset _ Loud Speaker mode
Speech Enhancement
Debug info
Speech Logger
Audio Logger
When i click on say loudspeaker mode it asks for type(ring/sip/mic/FMR/sph/sph2/sid/media/matv) & level(0/1/2/3/4/5/6).
How to operate it here? if i select say sph2 and selct level 6, the value becomes 148 and max vol becomes 158. I even press the set button in front of value which confirms that this value has been now set.
but when i come out and again go the same menu, it again shows the old level 0 and value of 76. does this means i will have to change it everytime before i need to make a call of loudspeaker?

I have been following up with him from Feb. He has said that offically poorvika mobile stores is taking a116 from 25th of this month.. and on 25th noon he asked me to come to his office and collect the phone. Cheers !!! fingers crossed..

I spoke to some of the dealers in Delhi, who said that Micromax decided to release it on HOLI(27th MAR) to the stores. Not sure if it is true or not... lets see another couple of days ... just get ready with your finger ;-)

Today I called up micromax customer care ..they told me that micromax already handed over all the smartphones ordered b/w 15th & 21st feb to Snapdeal n now its time for snapdeal to make timely delivery.
He also said...the Product will surely get delivered in given 10 days extension.
Now i dont know...if they r telling truth or they r avoiding a116 customers as they dont have any info to share!!!I booked my phone on 19th feb n my estd shipping date was 19th march..

swap, 20 Mar 2013when you book?No i think volume is not so loud but its ok and my canvas hd never restrted itself. Good phone please check the setting you can shedule the start and on time for this phone.
