Micromax A116 Bug - YOu can not write anything while charging . Try it . I have already bought this cell and facing the same issue .

micromax A116 Convas HD is fully loaded phone. but it should document editor also.

UMI has NO S... morehey mandeep,service centre is not an issue to any company i think they outsourcing now a days its a common thing for them as you know many computer hardware companies outsourced to local they appoint same the way nokia or samsung does,,,any one can approach to these companies for getting outsourced if they have infrastructure and experience ,,, i know one person in hyderabad he has 2 nokia care centre 1 samsung service centre on his brother name. :):)

Micromax canvas HD has a robust hardware but does not have a user interface to handle it. and the phone tends to crash often..

its very interesting to see that all phone manufacturers are concentrating on medium price range devices giving the pleasure of high end phones. regarding quality of chinese handsets, there are manufacturers who make quality products also they are OEM`s (orignal equipment manufacturers) and mostly their products are rebranded and sold all over the world. now that they are entering indian markets, we can buy them online, but they are flooded with warranty issues and lack of service centres. it is always wise to go in for a product which has after sales service and warranty. big brands like samsung, nokia etc are priced higher then others as they invest in R&D,advertistments,and higher profits. Brands like micromax, karbonn,etc.are reasonably priced and have service centre support also.in the world of mobiles there is always better option.now it depends on how oftenly we upgrade our devices and how much loss we can bear.

dear frnds...Both the smartphones have Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby capability which means one can use both the SIM’s simultaneously.(a 116 & mi 530)
In terms of network bands the Spice MI 530 supports triband for GSM network (GSM 900/1800/1900) and dual band for 3G network (WCDMA 900/2100). This is a good news for the people who travel to other parts of the world where the network bands change.
Unfortunately the Micromax A116 doesn’t support triband, it supports a dual band for 2G network (GSM 900/1800) and a single band for 3G network (HSDPA 2100)...so spice is best better option for those who travel outside to india..grtt spice..

Can you please tell me which mobiles company in this world does not get made in china? all mobile companies either they import or assemble in china even iphone and blackbery phones are made china. dont believe me. please go to blacberry showroom, take costly handset of worth 40k or 50k and look at the back of mobile. it will clearly mentioned made in china.

No need to go anywhere if you get problem with this phone. you can go to micromax service centers whic are available in all major cities of India after that you can take this phone and go to chandinichown to china or korea or japan or africa, anywhere you want to go you can go.
