Anonymous, 26 Feb 2013useless galaxy grand its takin much time to chrage,its like... morehow long time it takes for micromax hd to charge the battery full..bcoz samsung charging takes too long...samsung's mobiles r down in charging the battery..it takes nearly 3-4hours of charging...

lot of people are facing the problem of launcher crashing after downloading the flipboard app...one solution is to factory reset the phone....but the problem is that we will loose our very imp. data as everything will be deleted....i own this phone and i had the same problem...i rebooted my device 5 to 6 times....but then i found a better solution....just install "go launcher" in your phone...and whenever u download any app that causes the launcher to crash....after removing the battery and restarting it again you can select go launcher instead of the default launcher and it will work....then u can delete the app that was creating the problem....and start using the default launcher againg....enjoy:)
canvas hd is the best ph. trust me....even better than nexus 4....after playing with nexus 4 i was hugely disappointed....but this ph. is really mind boggling....:)

multi-core chip can execute multiple
instructions at the same time. Dual cores have two cores, and quad cores
have four. All the cores are on the same
chip though. So, they share the same
memory, and data path to the
motherboard. So, a quad core chip may be able to
execute the instructions four times faster,
but that doesn’t mean it can receive
instructions from ram four times faster. Also, the faster a CPU is, the hotter it gets.
Just because the CPU is a quad core
doesn't mean it was set to run at the same
gigahertz. Consider a manufacturer that wants to sell
a 4 gigahertz chip, but the core keeps
melting. One could sell a Quad core chip
with each core set to 1 or 2 gigahertz and
get increased performance, but still be
running each core much slower. Therefore the chip no longer melts. Software has to be rewritten to take full
advantage of multi-core processors. The
operating system might provide a small
automatic increase in speed, but you
won’t see a 4X increase in performance
simply by switching to a quad core. Even if the software is rewritten it might
not be 2X, or 4X faster because now the
program may have additional instructions
added for the sake of figuring out which
core is going to access each part of the
program.

AnonD-108274, 27 Feb 2013Excuse me who told u that rooting won't void warranty.if u ... moreI had a mmx a70 rooted it visited to service center no problem they served my mobile well, my friend has galaxy y, rooted custom rom installed, had a soft brick went to service center they also served him well...another my friend had Samsung pop mobile rooted modified the rom installed lg p500 rom,stuck at boot screen with lg logo in Samsung mobile :) went to service center told them he had downloaded some apps from play store and lg people has hacked his mobile, service center people repaided his mobile..always keep backup of stock rom which always helps....

AnonD-116665, 27 Feb 2013@ghoshtrider0110.....actually rooting doesn't void warranty... moreExcuse me who told u that rooting won't void warranty.if u r sure then root any branded phone like sony, htc, samsung etc and then visit any service centre even after unroot it.then u'll reliased.to root a device 1st u've to unlock bootloader and to unlock bootloader u've to register ur device on their website.so the very 1st time service centre guy would knw that bootloader is unlocked. But nt sure abt these chinease brands i think they don't lock bootloader so that will b safe 2 root these craps

@ghoshtrider0110.....actually rooting doesn't void warranty.all those r new to rooting they think rooting will void warranty coz they have read this thing from many sites,just like u have just written in this site,so those who will read ur comment will think rooting will void warranty and they will also write rooting voids warranty in other sites :p :p
but actually those who have spend time in rooting android mobile,flashing custom roms they know rooting doesn't void warranty.service center peoples from all companies Samsung/lg/micromax they don't even know what is rooting and even if they know they don't check whether mobile is rooted or not..and always u can unroot..so don't fear that rooting voids warranty.actually rooting mobile is a little complex process for beginners,if something goes wrong ur mobile can be bricked...but if u read the rooting process rightly and if u read all comments, u can easily root ur mobile and enjoy full potential of Android :)

People are buying the phone in black as soon as it comes out in the market, also they have been booking it online and as the company gives most preference to the online users they get it first and later the phone comes in the market which are very few in number.
