Hi everyone, I got this phone on 18th. The handset looks amazing. Here are my points.
Pros
1. The screen size is a big plus point here.
2. The navigation is smooth and the hands-on experience is quite satisfactory.
3. Build quality is better than A110
4. camera quality is not that bad. I took some initial snaps and the touch focus also forks fine.
Cons
1. The screen is LCD screen so its is very very prone to scratches. So I would recommend a scratch guard.
2. The battery life is another issue. Maybe I am not used to fablets that much but I had a galaxy 3(Apollo) and it lasted for around 2 days. This on the other hand hardly lasts a day.
One more thing. I am getting a R sign on top of my network connection. And when I am using my data connection(2g), it is saying that my device is on roaming and the roaming charges are applied. My sim is local but still it is giving that R sign. Does anyone has any idea what is going on?

Please tell me the performance of the Micromax A116 Canvas HD though I am using Samsung Galaxy SIII, but I wanted a mobile to my wife, so please inform me about the Phone & Performance of this model.

Now that its been a week since the launch of Mmx A116 wud any1 help me to buy a phone ?
I'm concerned abt the QUALITY. I don't know how to say it, but guys Mmx is an Indian Company and is also quite new in this arena, would there be some difference in the quality of the camera, touch-screen, battery, etc. ??
I mean there must be something that must be missing in the phone for which it is that cheap ! Samsung has kept the price at 21k, is it worth it ?
I have to buy a phone in very near future, plz HELP !

But if u ask which one is economical, then the answer is Micromax.
But if u ask which is economical as well as a quality product, then answer is again Samsung Grand.
Now choice is yours.
What I hate personally about brands like MMx is that thay always over-specify the specs, especially in case of camera-specs. Their 8mp cant even withstand 5mp of Nokia or Samsung.Thats it.
