I had a broken display and touych... i got it replaced from ly a local service guy... the display broke because of a sudden impact.. after the replacement, the wifi and bluetooth are not working... are not even starting up... what to do now??? pls dont give "take it to authorised service station" as a suggestion!!!!

AnonD-214265, 11 Dec 2013I tried using all Network operators and other than Aircel a... moreI too faced same problem but in my case culprit was BSNL. I suggest you upgrade your phone to JB 4.2. For my surprise my phone is working fine now. I do not know whether this is the solution but you can follow the solution pattern:)
1. I travel frequently between 2 states whenever I am in villages or small town I used to get signals.
2. If I move to metro cities phone was not catching the signal
3. I upgraded my phone to 4.2JB
4. Still my phone was not catching the signal
5. I went out of station for a village and I gained signal back :)
6. Now I am back in metro city and signal is up
7. No problem since a week
I know this solution looks foolish, for me it worked I do not know the technical reason behind this give it a try if you can ;)

Strange Situation even service center people cant understand whats the issue.

i upgraded my phone yesterday with jb 4.2..........ya the os is a bit flickering but gets stable in some some time of use..... the display and the colour reproduction quality became amazing good...... camera is also improved a lot............ if u r straggling with its low internal memory then it is worth to upgrade

This is the excellent phone ever i purchased..really now these days everything in Micro max has been changed and trust me friends I do not have any complain abt this phone but yes battery back-up is still bad may be because of Android device..all to all A116 HD is best gadget...thanks Abhishek Hait

Dear friends.... am planning to upgrade my HD from 4.1 to 4.2.... some of u frnds wrote in this that after upgradation HD will have flikkering n something like that... is it alright or shall I wait for 4.3? Pls friends suggest me a best opinion..... thanks in advance.....

Dear friend,
This is what I have experienced with micromax a116. I had purchased 4 months back and one day, When I got up in the morning, I found that phone is completely dead nothing work.
I went to nearest authorized service center in chennai ( Ambattur OT) service center name Shayam info system located near Ambattur OT bus stand. initially they said it will take 3 to 7 days to repair the phone. Latter they said it will take 20 days. since the hand set has been send to Banagalure for the PCB to be changed. Now they say it will take 45 days to resolve the issue.
They give the email add and contact details of the micro max service center. They also send copy past message of the previous email no matter what you request.
So far there is no info when will i get the phone back after repair.
I would suggest that if you comfortable to spend some extra bug, please go for a branded one or else you have suffer like me.
where there is no info and no care for the customer.

yaa sme prblm battery backup is very poor but in case of games i unable download need for speed most wanted because memory is very low so any one can solve this prblm then pls tell me....???

micromax a116 does not work in USA
myself and my two friends purchased micromax a116 and tried to use this phone in USA, but it failed to recognise network there. No usa sim was working in all three micromaxa116 phones. when i send message to micromax on facebook they replied "contact nearest service centre". when i came back from usa gone to micromax centre they were not able to understand the problem. two of my friends soldout their phone with a loss.
indian sims are working in micromax a116. Most surprisingly, micromax A110 was working in USA
