I bought this phone about one and half year ago,i never faced any problem in it.It was working very fine but since a month my screen starts randomly touching anywhere on the screen its called "ghost touch" but i could hardly fine any solution for it.I have rooted my phone i changed the rom but no change.Anyways it was the best experience to operate Canvas magnus A117 it was an absolute beauty.

Hi everyone..
--- solving magnus storage problem---
-at first backup all file on this phone.
-then reset factory settings.
-then storage space available (.89gb)
then you can install many apps... but you can't switch off the phone.In switch off mode it create junk file and decease available space.

I suggest to all that this phone does not deserve a penny of it.Internal memory is very low followed by phone storage.Body looks very cheap(no surprise as it is micromax).Display is OK.You cannot run heavy apps like asphalt 8 on it due to it's only 1.27 GB internal.Android version 4.2 I.e a kind of outdated.Sometimes it hangs a lot.You have had more options in this price range.

i using da setbefore 1 year...one major problem for phon storage|| go file manager > phon manager>dicim>thumble>image1 image2......delete da folder afterr automatically created folder and and full space on phone storage..problem r felling when sent a photo through whatsaap or other social network da phon couldnt sent da poto... showing on screen insufficient space plz try again but da battry back up is good this phone.... now i deceide.. i change my set...plz tell me which phon i can buy...my finance budget for new phon lessthan 10,000

brother, 24 Jun 2015dear friend, i am using A117 for long and found it very go... morebro check the device memory in file manager the and press the left touch in botton touch pad it shows show hidden file choose this and then go to dcim folder u will get thumbnail this is the reason behind memory loss in the phone so delete it u will get full of ur memory...

I used Micromax Canvas Magnus (A117) for almost 1 years 8 months (Nov. 2013-June 2015) and purchased cost was 15k. From the day one I was disappointed with camera quality, heating problem, unwanted loaded games (which has virus), upgrade problem, power backup and high cost. In June, 2015, my mobile screen broken and I went to Micromax service center and ask for repairing. The person said blue color mobile screen is not available in stock then I said go with other color, he said it will be around 5,500 cost to change the screen. Then I realize that I made a big mistake by choosing Micromax mobile. I would suggest to you go with other mobiles, but don't go with Micromax. Worst mobile of my life.....No no no no to Micromax. Better to go with China mobile or some other local mobiles, but don't waste your money on Micromax.

I used canvas magnus since 2 feb 2M.botom 3 keys are not working.. Now the botom toch is also not working.. So not buy micromax.. I didnt get replaced.. Touch problems starts after 8 months of buying... and now they are saying they want 3500rs for solving the problem with the phone.. And if u sell this after the problem solved u get 3000 only... Soo pathetic

Viral, 23 May 2015In 1.2 year i was changed my magnus A117 mobile lcd two tim... moreI've been using the Mmx Canvas Magnus A117 for last 1.3 years (April 2014 onwards). Perfectly happy with the device in all aspects, except the apps memory space limitation.
Battery lasts one full day with regular phone usage + GPRS + some music + minimal gaming activities, no complaints in that department. But space available for app installation is limited to 1GB which gets filled up quite fast and forced to uninstall some apps not in use !

go to mmx service center they will replace new battery if your phone battery is swelling / bulging you have to stop using damage battery.

dear friend,
i am using A117 for long and found it very good. i have downloaded apps of about 500 mb memory and it shows the entire 1gb of phone storage full. i have 8 gb external sd card also in it. after restoring factory settings entire 1 gb of memory remains for a few days and later it starts getting full without downloading anything extra.
please help and advice.
