mucromax is a indian company but d production is in china,
if u compare camera quality with samsung it wiil disappoint u, but samsung is unable to give features in this categories

Hi all, i bought my new canvas magnus blue from amazon on 8 jan @ a price of 12860 , thought it was a steal at the price.. But after receiving the parcel i saw a made in china badge over the cover and every where on the phone. 1).My first query micromax is indian company how come i got this phone?? Is the gabbar deals got this phone from china and selling this in india?? 2). And in call volume is too low.. And even with loud speaker on its very low. 3).And the picture quality of camera is very pathetic my samsung 5MP pics are far better than this. And the audio quality reminds me that of old china phones of 2008.
Can anybody clarifies me rearding these issues.. Thanks in advance..

The processor in this phone is Mediatek MT6589T i.e. turbo version which is clocked at 1.5GHz instead of 1.2GHz of Canvas HD.
The GPU is also clocked to 357MHz instead of 286Mhz of Canvas HD.
ANTUTU benchmark score is 15925
Nenamark 2 gives 52.8 FPS
This phone can play most of the HD games better than CHD as the gpu is better than CHD.
Also front and rear camera are better in this phone compared to Canvas HD.
This phone has 9 mm slim body with full #ALUMINIUM casing weighing 141 grams only..
Also this phone has 42 Mbps HSDPA over 21 Mbps HSDPA, but max 3G speed provided in India is 21 Mbps only so it's not quite an advantage.
1. No lag. ever.
2. Runs all heavy games at ease.( fifa 14, asphalt 7,8 , dead trigger 2, batman etc. etc.)
3. Great picture quality in daylight. At night good enough.
4. Battery is good.
5. Sound quality is great if u listen with quality head phones.

Buy this phone. Dont buy turbo, or E6 or those stupid 20K full hd screen phones. They give worst performance. if ur budget is 15000, go for this phone.. if ur budget is 20000, go for nexus 4 (it is available for 20k, search! )

it was rs 12143 in Amazon and i had purchased and it is in transit.....
it was sold out wait for the offer or buy from other websites which is around 13300-13500.

suresh, 09 Jan 2014Sound caullty is very bad and camera b bad and phone is averageAwesome budget phone with OTG supported.. We can connect Pen drive, Mouse, Keyboard, Xbox,etc to this phone via OTG cable.. Even Google Nexus 4 does not have this OTG feature... Micromax at its best..Many are talking about the average camera quality.. But overall, it is a decent phoneto have in your pocket... :) :) :)

Does MAGNUS has normal WiFi facility? It's specs say it has HOTSPOT WiFi,how is it different?
