I bought this mobile on Nov-5 from infibeam for 14150, one week after it came out. The phone has been consistently good and never given any problems yet.
There is always around 450 mb ram free so there is no lag whatsoever. About the heating, it does heat a bit when network or wifi is being used intensely, but it is also fair to say that the phone cools down very quickly as well...
Battery life is good enough for any purpose...i myself dont use the phone all the time, but i have noticed that, from a full charge to 100%, the phone maintains the charge as long as it is not disturbed... playing games etc discharges battery slightly quickly but if it is kept idle, then the "batterybot" reports that it could last even till 6 days :P...it should definitely last a day without problems on a continuous network connection...

Who have said you that MMX 117 is hving non removable battery? Have you seen that of your own eye? I cordially request you that please do not spread wrong information for one of the best mobile manufacture company of India. I request you to please go to shop and check your self and you will see that the device is having removable battery. So please think twice for next time before writing any reviews like that....

guys,dont at all go for this phone...better go for xolo q 2000 at same price. magnus has non removable battery ...and is only 2000 mah...which lasts only for 8 hours...

I hv noticed something in mmx magnus dat there is a diffrence in screen quality of white color and black color phones...the screen of white body phone have blue tint on it whereas its not there in blue body phones...if you open a white screen on both these phones i.e white and blue mmx magnus u ll notice dat white body phn's screen has a blue tint on it on the other hand blue one will have a better color contrast

Hi guys,
i know micromax a117 is a successor of very famous micromax a116.but i want to know which is better since both having more or less similar specifications,price and also a116 is excellent over the period of one year without any lagging till now.
I am really confused abt these two phones..Kindly suggest me if any one have working experience on both these phones.

I had Canvas3 A116 Hd before Magnus, when comapared to that The Magnus is Magnus. I brought this cool phone few days back....Super phone freinds go for it if your budget is 14k. I can understand the inbuilt memory in this budget but 4GB I feel is enough for apps. U can add external for your other things....
