You would curse the day you bought this phone when it breaks and you have to break your head to find a valid service centre, who had people who would help you out.

Bought one in 13800/- in white colour. As body is AL, back panel is in silver finish, better than Blue. Awesome device in this price.

Guys does anyone has the white variant of the magnus....I m not able to find it anywhere and the price of the white variant on flipkart is 18k....Much higher than the blue one
If anyone has the white one pls I want to see the pics of the white colour

Hi All,
I'am using this Magnus since last 10 days. I'am a HTC user and Mobile freak I should say that people in my office saw my phone and asked me the specs and used and said that their experience with the phone was the best in its class 14100 is the price i bought in Chennai and I will say that I have never made a mistake in selecting my gadgets and Ppl who said Micromax is a local brand now say that they should have opted this instead of buying Samsung S3 / Note 2 as this is very cost effective
Advantages :
-Very very Slim & sleek
-Aluminium Back panel
-Descent 12mpx camera but u will feel that this is like a 5 megapixel HTC / Sony Camera but still this is best but not for night picture as i had few grains(image noise)
-front Camera 2 mpx is pretty ok for Skype calls
-Battery is really good for heavy users I mean for more calls it will last 1 full day with 3 hrs call together and remaining standby so 6-7 hrs continuous calls
-Gamers and HD movie freaks this is the best clarity IPS screen
- I have a Philips headphones and I enjoy music but for inbuilt Speakers it has a voice up and down at a 7 point volume out of 10 Full keep in full volume you will not experience this
- looks really Im telling u classic and Very royal just when i opened the mobile which was the first piece from the showroom ppl around me 3-4 ppl asked me what phone is that and they all said looks good
- it has blow to unlock and shake to unlock / gesture controlled camera , call receiving etc etc etc with gesture sensor
- no heating problem
Dis-advantages
- since it is back aluminium panel it feels slippery
- I use Silicon back case to avoid slipping
- finger print gets stuck over the screen a lot and im using a separate cloth to clean every now and then.
- Micromax Brand name
- Since i work in Corporate i dont think its having a grand name but I guess this mobile will be a Turning point for micromax
- No Gorilla Glass screen protection
- only 4 GB internal and only 1.6 GB is user available but i move apps to SD card so shouldnt be an issue
Im not a micromax freak but im a current HTC & Sony user as well now a Proud Micromax user !!
After all these praisings of this mobile i shouldn't face any problem with this one atleast since i have suffered already with HTC services in replacing Touch Screen 3 times since my hands sweat a lot and hence the screen doesnt last for long !!

I used this phone for past 1week., its awesome phone., but it takes nearly 3-4 hours for full charge and battery drops in a day., and i want to inform gsmarena that., the many specs of this device CANVAS MAGNUS was incorrect.,
1) It records FULL HD i.e) 1080p videos.
2) Battery is REMOVABLE.
3) It doesn't have COMPASS sensor.
4) It has only DEEP BLUE, WHITE colors., It has no black variant.
5) It does have a MEMORY CARD slot...
-as your web site is popular don't create a review for the phones according to the rumours..

Please note it has got Mediatek MTK 6589T(Turbo) Processor, this is the latest and one of the BEST processor released so far, only few mobiles has got this processor and its expensive too...
it can compete with any Samsung or best phones in the market.
i have been using this Mobile for the past 2 weeks and i have not faced any problem with this mobile.

Kindly correct the specifications above. There's a card slot and can carry upto 32GB card. Also, battery is removable type.
