Please Don't Buy this kind of crap.
their is no meaning of android without rooting or having custom kernels. We can do lot of things by have the Kernel source code. MMX failed to provide the code for the developers.
Micromax is the rebrand of chinese phones. Its better to go for other china android phones like celkon a99(also a rebrand of china phone, if you really need an Big screen android phone for low cost or Just go for Samsung Galaxy Y.

Micromax suggested not to install any ANTI VIRUS in MMX A70, A75 mobiles as the processor & RAM speed is too low for which your mobile will hang several times.
Avoid MMX, Stay Safe !!!

What is the Quadrant Benchmark Score of MMX A70 ?? I heard it is around 450 approx
But I got the Quadrant Benchmark Score in Samsung Galaxy Y as 1100. Its really awesome. Faster download, faster internet, opens apps faster etc than MMX

Why no one is confronting Micromax for misguiding the public about its weight? It has weight around 120gm. But all the places Micromax publish it as 85gm.
Another aspect is about the camera. 5MP what? How they could stand saying this? Any body following this site is a fool in these 2 aspects.

parth, 19 Jan 2012hey i just wanna know that is tis phone upgradable to 2.3..... moreno unfortunately A70 cant be upgraded to 2.3,mmx is such a 3rd class company that they r not providing d kernel source code of a70,if they had released we could port CyanogenMod and possibly 2.3...though A70 is a good mobl but mmx customer service is 3rd class(worst) thatsy i dont recommend ne1 to buy ne mmx products...

I tried the setcpu that was posted here, it works, rooted with z4root and then ran setcpu, it runs beautifully. set at 750 mhz.

I'm using my m70 from 3months. its really amazing phone at dis price. never lags.
but if I get another chance den I would. opt for Samsung only.

I was going through the comments, saw a guy mention if the CPU can be overclocked with a application called setcpu. i tried it, i could take it to 800 MHZ. kept it at that for 2 months, works like a dream, tried again and forced it to 925 MHZ works superb, but the mobile gets hot. took it back to 750 MHZ. the phone has to be rooted first.
