2>i hvnt face the lagging problem...most of the time i browse from my a70 using opera & i dont find any problem...i use 3 homecreen,1st homescn only contains mobile guard widget,2nd home screen contains only 4shortcut,3rd hmscn contains only power control widget...if u r using many homescreen,many widget & many shortcut that is a not a very good idea coz it slowsdown ur mobile performance by wasting ram...normally my 50%ram is always available...when i start gprs i use fast reboot app for 2-3times & use mobile guard app optimize option 4 1time...they close all apps in 2-3secs & save ram(always goto settings>application>force close maps,netqn anti virus,market)
which launcher r u using???is it the default launcher???that is really slow...use zeam launcher...really good launcher...waiting for ur rply...

one more thing whenever i switch on gprs the phone starts lagging a lot.even the swiching among homescreens is quite jittery.(don't say that kill all application by fast reboot,even though i kill them they start automatically.)
overall its a good phone but what about these issues.......

akki01, 02 Nov 2011which is best for hd gaming either micromax a70 or galaxy y... more@akki01...the gaming experince is much better in A70...it has bigger screen,better screen resolution(dont say A70 has 3.2" & samsung y has 3",go to any shop & keep A70{if A70 is not available,samsung pop coz a70 has slightly bigger screen than pop} & samsung y in ur hands & u will understand why we r saying the screen of y is small & resolusion is low),a70 has adreno200 gpu...so ur gaming experince will be very good...the camera & gaming experince of samsung y is not good...even igyaan has said in his video review of samsung y "gaming is not as great as expected"(8min 8sec) & about camera igyaan said "camera is not great at all & video quallity is really poor,u can use the camera in emergency purpose"(8min 30sec),about screen resolution igyaan said "screen resolusn is pretty low for the value"(1min20sec)...

in my post i had said about samsung y that it is a good mobile but it has also few drawbacks...but u people started saying bad comments on me & saying bad comments on A70,that is not right(even the igyaan has said A70 is a really good mobile & rated 3.5/5 stars)...there is no war betwn samsung Y & micromax a70,every mobile has its +-points & u should hav mentality to accept that...saying bad things about others never prove u right...only if u say the truth then it will prove u right...

inuyasha, 02 Nov 2011@rahulrulezz; don kid urself dude.. am using this m... more@inuyasha...hey man use fast reoot app...really the best app to optimize ur mobile...in just 1click all the apps will be closed in 1sec...really saves a lot of ram & battery...i use both fast reboot & mobile guard app...they really saves ram & battery a lot...even u can try Zeam launcher(highly recommended)...really a light w8 launcher...u will get more ram available if u use Zeam launcher... :)

[deleted post]what u call aakash tab a local product or a product of good company ?? still indian government is supporting it... if u are saying micromax a local company then let me tell u samsung is not that high level company... if u see few years back till their corby were not launched... samsung was also in the same category as u r saying about micromax... but reality is micromax is launching great feature in good price and people like u are jealous.. if u want to have a branded phone that suits ur personality then why not u bought a HTC desire.. why did u go for samsung Y its really cheaper then micromax a70 :D
now pls dont tell i m a70 user ... im OPTIMUS NET user. :D

@rahulrulezz.... haha dude.. this is 5mp autofocus.. and ur 2mp wouldnt even flip a quarter against this.. if i show u the pics i have taken with my a70.. u ll hang urself :P grow up dude.. don jus argue for name sake..

don kid urself dude.. am using this mobile, its only drawback is the ram.. if it had more ram it wud have kick the butts of all the samsung devices.. including galaxy ace..
and oh oh pls.. don compare this with galaxy y.. the screen resolutn is more than enuff to kick the galaxy y out of the league.. and by the way... it doesnt even have a dedicated gpu.. haha lol.. :) still a70 rocks.. and sometimes ur HD games might force close in the device, thats cos ..ram wud have been less available.. in that case just open a HD game let it run for 5mins.. then close it and use task manager to free memory.. now u shud hav around 85 to 90mb free ram.. now go and open ur desired app.. it wud run better.. :)

a70 is a very mobl for the price range...I hv seen when I charge my mobile switching on,d battery drains quickly but when I keep my mobile swtch off during charging d battery retains it power really well,I really get very good standby time as well as good battery backup with moderate talking,2-3hrs net surfing...even my battery never heats up even not during charging...I am using a70 for 40days...actly android phons has to optimizd for better battery life...

mobile u will see android os has opened
lots of unnecessary apps,they kill ur ram &
battery,even mobile guard app cant kill all
this apps...so use fast reboot app..really a

apps(they actly kill ur memory and
battery)...fast beboot app & mobile guard
app really saves a lot of ram & battery...i
use both fast reboot app & mobile guard
app widget..this 2 app helps a lot...u can
also go to settings>application>running app
& there force stop map,market,netquin
antivirus(when u r using them)...they waste
ur battery & ram...always before switching
ur screen off use fast reboot app & mobile
guard app optimize option...it take only
1sec to optimize ur mobile...
3>use Zeam launcher(highly
recommended)...i hav tried many launchers
starting from default lancher to launcher
pro,golauncher ect..but i hv found Zeam
launcher is very good...very light
launcher...really saves a lot of ram &
battery...my standby battery life has
improved a lot afer using zeam launcher...
if u follow above mention 3 points u will see
better battery life & more ram will be
available...
4>keep gprs,gps,wifi off when not using them...

I am getting good battery life...plz if u didn't used my tips,use that tips...if u hav used d tips and still u r getting bad battery life go to service center... :(
but I am getting good battery backup...I had given charge yesterday & I am posting my comment from my a70 & I really get very good standby time...

now I'm taking my old nokia 5300 mobile to d colz
as battery backup of micromaxa70 is not even lasting for 6hrs...
had to buy another spare battery...:(

Perhaps I was among the first users of the set. This is an awesome set considering the performance vis a vis price tag. Yes Speaker is a problem as provided on the back side, and it does not support video calling although has got a front camera.
After around 70 days of use now facing great difficulties in charging and set is currently with the service centre.. Battery is Ok, but most of the time after connecting to charger or even at the USB, either its not charging or showing false charge.. If any user has the same problem please report, trying to understand if its set specific.
