I had a micromax Q1 purchased back in dec2010.had problem with motherboard of the mobile gave to service center. its been more than 2 months and i did not get my mobile back.some times they say they will repair.some time they say they will replace it. Dont know how it will be returned(what condition). Got to know from my experience that after sale service of micromax is WORST.quality of good are not reliable(rather not durable).you can not expect life of device more than 1YR MAX. If they take such long time in repairing a basic piece(Micromax Q1).I dont think they can repair/FIX problems with touch screen devices like A70.
I was thinking of buying this device but stopped thinking about this with such AfterSaleService(WORST)
BETTER stay away from MICROMAX.

1.Dose it support hd video
2.what is the standby time in 3g and 2g
3.when we play games for 2hours how much be the result of the battery
4.when the battery is 100% how many hour we can surf the internet in 2g and 3g respectively

bullzeye, 31 Oct 2011hi all, can any tell me how to use internet on my pc using ... moreif want surf internet from pc using ur a70,
go to settings>wireless settings>tethering & portable hotspots and there select usb tethering...that's all, now connect ur mobile to pc & I hope u will able to surf internet in ur pc through ur mobile...

2.in f... more1)160mb ram is available for user...I hv heard that ram of a70 is 256mb,160 is available for for users & rest is for android os...yes a bit low ram available for users but mobile is fast,no lag,runs very smooth...and internal memory of a70 is 190mb,30mb is consumed by preloaded apps but they can b removed by rooting...
2)android os(at least 2.2) doesn't support video calling using service provider,android os only support video calling using apps like fring,tango etc...
3)as far what I remember a70 can play gangster hd,I had heard it from users of a70...but I will confirm it by tomorrow...
4)I think wifi is not bad,wifi may be weak if u r far from wifi-point and it can't be improved as it is a hardware issue...if u r in moderate distance then it will not be a problem...

kishor, 30 Oct 2011Any 1 help me iam very much confused with this micromax and... morea70 has adreno200 gpu so u can play good hd games like nfs shit,raging thunder 2 etc...I hv played this games,they run perfectly & without any lag...
the front facing cam is not dummy,u can do video call using app called fring...even u can make pc-mobile video call using tango app...u only require internet for it...but normal video calling using voda or airtel is not possible bcoz android doesn't support video call using service provider,android os supports only supports video calling using apps like fring,tango etc using data pack(internet)...
d benchmark score of a70 is 479(max),I got this value...but benchmark score is not every thing bcoz samsung y score more than Samsung s2 but Samsung y can't play ne hd games like nfs shit ect & has many drawbacks like small screen,bad resolution,no gpu200,bad camera...where a70 has a moderate benchmark score but a70 is a very good compact mobile phone & can play most of hd games...

The problem with a70 is that it might lose its vibration all of a sudden and then suddenly it resumes its vibrations( which will gradually rectify on its own)... Another problem is that u might have problems with the phone mic and u will hear ur own voice...pressing the mute button n then resuming the call sometimes help! otherwise it's a nice phone...touch is superb display is good! sound quality is decent Alternatives: Acer's android phone or spice's android phone.

In benchmark test how much it scores
if there is any way to viedocall via front camera in our operator 3g like airtel they give free viedocall when we put 3g data pack
(now iam using E52 nokia in that i can viedocall to any one with out any app via front cam)
