i brought micromax a73 06/04/12 is really useless phone i can't download anything. west-ting time and money.

I purchased this phone on april 4 2012 and now it is dead

My experience with A 73 for last 30 days usage:
Battery: for Avg users the battery last for 3 to 4 days and for moderate users (20 minutes of call + 30 minutes of browsing + 1 hour of listening music every day) last for 2 days for heavy users (4 plus hours of browsing +_ 60 mins of talktime etc ,etc ) last for 15 hours
Display: Clear and crisp but not the brightest one
Touch screen sensitivity: Well above average
Camera: front is ok for video call and back is worth only in bright sunlight and flash - only a small torch useless for camera
Spec: 170 Mb phone memory out of which 29 mb is utilized for system os and preinstalled softwares after updating all inbuilt application i had 130 mb left for more applications which is decent memory.
RAM: out of 256 mb system available is 202, out of which i can get 35 to 50 mb for application running, which is low
Processor: i can give a 4 out of 5 rating for processor it can play any video upto 480p 720p is it get struggle to play and
Pros: without GPU its hectic to close or come back from applications which take 2 to 4 seconds of blank black screen for a big applications (more than 100 mb sized games)
WIFI, Bluetooth, 3G speed everything is quick and fine.
Video calling is good if u have bright light and speed of video transmission is quite good.
Skype not working is a down fall but u can use fring which works like a charm for both video and voice call.
Audio Quality is average good loud speaker and voice reception on Call.
Keys are little bit plastic but ok.
Supports upto 32 Gb micro sd card. Works best on my 8 GB class 10 micro sd card.
Dual sim single stanby I can say when sim 1 in call sim 2 is unreachable instead of busy which I miss something in my old Samsung duos
Overall I can give 4 out of 5 ratings since its worth for the money I spend .

it is very useless phone where we cant download a single app frm android market . then why the hell we need this blady A 73 . This is not a a73 this is A 420 PHONE

I purchased this mobile on 21 april i charged my mobile to 90% at night and in morning i saw the mobile was fully discharged then i connected the charger to my mobile the mobile was not charging another serious issue with this mobile is it gets heatup to much when you charge the mobile if you are in confussion to buy wether to buy samsung duos or any micromax with dual sim go for samsung

Amazing Phone, as I was using HTC wildfire and switched to Micromax a73, The interface is same and the apps are all commen as the platform is Andriod.
Almost all the features are available which a fone is req to have these days.
Go for it Guys.....

micromax a73 is a vert excellent phone in this range i buy this phone in few days.. micromax launches excellent phone at cheapest rate... last 1 yr i using micromax phone first phone x550 & another is a60 i am very happy with the micromax brand....

.. mene ise 1 month before purchase kiya tha..N m stuck off
this phone is worst
not good battery backup N also multitasking is curse
..I advised to all that do not invest your money to this phone

guys a75 also heats up quickly sometime if ur battery are getting too low if so occurs please pickup the battery and put it agian and restart the phone it will also give some solution!

i suggest all of yu not to buy androids of micromax spice etc etc bez these mobiles r worst ,,,,,,,,,,,instead samsung and htc lead the way in android phones and their phones just rock!!!!!!!!!!

ved, 03 Apr 2012is a73 better than a75? plz suggest me. thanx..A75 is more good.Go for A75
