I am using this phone since last 3 weeks...it was an excellent smart phone with low budget...13Mp back and 5Mp front camera which gives me excellent images and videos which i need...there is a latest version android 4.2.1 and have the A7 quad core processor with excellent speed...battery you can use 1 and a half day... only charge at once a day.. if you want a smartphone...go with canvas 4...its also with a metal flip cover free...

xolo q1000s is much much better in processing speed,camera quality,cashe memory,display,and battery in just 17k.

In my opinion, go for a Lumia device if you really want a great camera. Go for Lumia 625 or 720. 625's 5 mp is better than Canvas 4's 13 mp.

According to my knowledge wcdma offers 3g speeds 3.6 - 7.2 kbps.
Whereas HSDPA offers 3g speeds upto 21 mbps

I am confused coz the options available in settings>more>mobile networks>3g service > network mode> choose between gsm/wcdma or Wcdma only
So does the phone have hsdpa (as mentioned in above specs) which can be utilized in dowloading or uploading

some one mentioned its hanging...it doesnt hang even as in galaxy s3 ...its realy great piece of work from micromax....Im sure It will be a great hit...

I already own the Canvas HD and want to upgrade to Canvas 4. But the call recording feature is very important to me. Therefore I need to know this before buying. In Canvas HD the feature becomes visible ONLY after the call is connected and pops up on pressing the left options/menu button. Thanks.

You can go for this phone its real worth for money and you will enjoy once you have handset in your pocket. This is my personal experience even i have bought it i have bought this set in August 2013
