Brand is title given to a product by which it is known.By the word Branded He might have meant some more popular or reputed brand. Well Micromax is performing well and gaining ground.(I am using one)

i request only real users of the phone to comment here others shut yourself don't compliant good phones unnecessarily this time mmx had tried to develop its build quality so plz leave this indian brand to grow up

Hi I just got it a couple of days back. Nice overall but battery charges only 93% and the backlight remains on throughout charging.Is it normal opr is this defective???? Please help

Well, if you all compare this Mobile with anyother like samsung, sony, iphone etc etc... you are right.
Micromax is doing the same as Samsung did some 5 years back. All phones more or less have same features, almost same hardware (almost) just branding change.
Samsung have become such a big brand with so many employees (high paid) to pay have no option but to sell mobiles at high prices. Nokia had similar problem when samsung launched there mobiles in market. Samsung mobiles were cheap with good features, much better than Nokia. At that time no one use to think of mobiles other than Nokia, but slowly people realised its not worth paying for Nokia (they still think so which is true).
Micromax is in similar phase. Currently Micromax have same phones with same features just brand is different so we get the almost same product for cheap. Slowly if Micromax starts increasing there prices due to increase in its fixed cost. People will switch to new company then....
Currently Micromax is giving so many features in reasonable price that an Average Indian will be happy to buy there mobiles. I have seen some good features in Samsung and Iphones which are absent in Micromax.... but then i asked myself, am i really going to use those features???? Maybe initially once or twice and then maybe to show off and then maybe once a year. Then i asked myself is it worth paying 3 times more for features which makes so sense to me????
Definitely the Answer was NO.... So i bought Micromax. and really Im HAPPY with my Micromax. Currently a true Smartphone at a Reasonable price by an INDIAN Company (though manufactured in China/Korea)....
Iphones are Manufactured in China....
Samsung in Korea....
LG in Korea again....
Most of Other brands in China including Micromax....
So its mainly same product with different Brands and Price tags.... :-)

Guyz i have been reading reviews by technical xperts frn different sites....most of them suggest the phone is no value for money,completely misleading. I just don't understand what these guyz want. only drawback is its rare camera's photos quality under lowlight, video quality is good. Front cam is gr8. Design performance and features are according to price, nowhere less!

I should say dont go for canvas 4 because it will come around 18K-19k...but canvasHD is now only 13K. As you mentioned that you dont have havy money then I should preffer canvasHD..

I purchasd last month canvas hd and I am with and one person asked me u Are using a chinees brand phone and he tell me. Buy a branded phn in this same range. Like sony.
