I don't know the method to check but I tried to scratch on my screen by blade and screen won't get scratched as i'm still with original screen and its gorilla glass.

this the is the best everphone made by micromax i m using this from last one year but one thing i give my phone for repair due to dome touch problem now the screen m using which was replaced by mmax service centre is not as good as the original screen when i purchased picture quality
bad even i had requested for headphones from last three months but no revert is that not available now m using duplicate headphones

I'm using canvas 4 in 1 year it is very good phone all r very nice in appropriate price
no any complaint no any problems it is awesome compared to another phone & price

hanif, 08 Aug 2014i purchased canvas 4 almost 1 yr before.Recently i face the... more1. Remove battery.
2. Put battery back and do not switch the phone on.
3. Borrow a phone which has the charging USB port similar to Canvas 4 and make sure that the borrowed phone charging.
4. If it is charging the borrowed phone then, connect your Canvas 4 and let it charge 10 min while it is still off.
5. Turn the phone on and it should be charging normally.
Let me know if this worked.

i purchased canvas 4 almost 1 yr before.Recently i face the problem that my mobile not charge when handset is on. it means mobile charge only when handset is off. is there any solution? pls...

Shhzd amar, 01 Aug 2014I think of you test it on your own than it will better... t... moreI checked with Galaxy Grand, Note 3 and My Canvas 4, the proximity range works upto 2 inch. I was expecting Note 3 would cover more range, but no. All 3 same range.

Shhzd amar, 01 Aug 2014I think of you test it on your own than it will better... t... moreI checked in my Canvas 4 and the proximity sensor is sensing at 2 inch appx (no filp cover/screen guard).
I used the dialing method to test proximity sensor, that is, make a call to someone (i called 111, vodafone customer service)and try to test it by placing your palm near to proximity sensor and the screen should go off and slowly move your hand far, till the screen lights up.
I Will check with other Brands like Samsung etc and let you know and you also check this and let me know.

I'm w... moreI think of you test it on your own than it will better... there is a certain distance in which it can sense if something is above it.. that distance is very low in canvas 4... it should be atleast 1inch from the sensor but it is less than that....

I think canvas 4 is pretty good phone provided by micromax till date in its price range... some cons are there which make the phone NOT upto the mark... 1st is its 13MP camera.... its garbage.... total crap, takes a lot of time to focus even than the image is not perfect... but the 1080p video recording is reallly too good its crystal sharp and also it records sound perfectly as it has secondary mic for noise cancellation.... another con is that its overheating.. in winters I used to keep the phone under my cushion when charging and if the screen was left open the phones would actually heat up so much (its sides) that you can iron your clothes with it.... also it it was overheating it would never stop the charging... my Samsung phone stops the charging automatically when it overheats.. again a con is that its speakers are not upto the mark.. they arent loud enough and also when played a bit typical sounds the sound would tear... also its proximity sensor is not that good... auto brightness adjustment is good but when you are in a call and if the phone is 1-2 mm away frm your ear it wakes up... that many times created problems for me... coming to the battry life its average ( not too good and not too bad)... I used the phone for 2 months and I found it that it started lagging at times.. compared to when I bought it..

i own a canvas 4 for almost an year now.
It is an excellent phone. there's no problem of any sort, the only issue i have is with bluetooth getting disconnected sometimes.
There's some issue either with your Internet provider or your router. In first case u need to contact ur provider, for latter, get a new router.
