Just for the correct info SAR rating of Canvas 4 is
0.17 W/Kg @ 1 gm (head) and 0.5 W/Kg @ 1 gm (body)which is far below the normal limit.
Nomal : 2 W/KG @ 1 gm (head) and 3.2 W/Kg @ 1 gm (body)

I am very much glad to know that you have a brother named Pranjal, now you have 2 bothers named Pranjal and I got one brother named Atharv.
About you questions - YES! Blow/Shake to unlock works every time you unlock the Canvas 4. Blow to unlock uses microphone as its sensor and shake to unlock uses proximity sensor. And when you are in home you can use easy mode which is automatic(flash) or I prefer using HDR(no flash) with proper lightning. HDR gives you 2 pictures, one with normal shadow, brightness, contrast etc. and one with enhanced picture quality. It depends upon you which picture you wanna use and you can edit them as well in the editor already pre-installed. Pictures are full HD.
Last but not the least I don't use task manager because task managers are only needed when a phone is slow or lags or internal memory is less but in case of C4 these does not happens at all. It is real fast and no lags. But yes indeed it comes with task manager and you can kill any application by going to settings>apps and it shows you all the apps which are installed/running/not running. Also C4 has msecurity which has optimizer within itself and I use it to optimize my C4. Hope this helps! Thank you for asking and keep posting.

Thank you for the curiosity and the willingness you are showing to know about the tech side of C4 which in your case is GPS. C4 comes with A-GPS which is called Assisted GPS. It is the latest, far more accurate and has the capability to fix GPS locations instantaneously when the GPS receiver has been off for some time which many of the devices lacks. Standalone/Autonomous(Standard) GPS depends on satellite signals only whereas A-GPS uses satellite signals and in case of poor satellite signals it resolves issues by using Network provider signals also. So C4 adapts to its surroundings in simple terms and gives you the best possible GPS route. I have tested it and confirmed. And You can use Navigation/Google map on C4 which is already pre-installed and gives accurate readings. At times I also use GPS tracking pro for tracking my friends/girlfriend. What a phone. Camera quality is just simply awesome and battery backup is amazing, I get three days of battery life with moderate usage. Well done, Micromax. The features in this phone are cool.

Thank you for reading the review. I am really glad that you are making a wise choice to buy C4. And I am quite delighted to say that C4 is HD with IPS LCD display and 294 ppi pixel density(which is lot for naked eyes). And it does have Wifi direct. Let me explain to you in simple terms : Wifi direct means that you can ONLY connect your device to Wifi networks, on the other hand Wifi hotspot means that you can connect and also share your Wifi network with other devices as well if you want to. And you do not have to worry about a thing, the moment C4 gets a Wifi network it will notify you and you can turn off/on Wifi.
So go ahead and grab your C4 before its too late to get one. You won't regret. Thanks and keep posting.

Hey guyz!! I bought this phone 10 days ago. its good but the rear camera is worst, it is not actually 13 megapixels. I think someone has forgotten to place a dot in between 1 and 3, its like 1.3 megapixel picture quality wise, clicked picture size is about 5mb but picture quality is very bad. but front 5 megapixel camera is quite good as compare to the rear. Otherwise all other fetures of phone is really good :)

Nice to know you bought C4 2 days before. I never found any battery problem with my C4 for sure but as you said you found some. Well Karan I would be very happy to help you if you can go to settings>battery and tell me how much usage does it show in hours, mins and seconds. And also, which application shows the longest and shortest percentage of battery use?
And about the camera, as you are trying to compare C4(13mp) to Samsung grand(8mp). I would like to tell you that experts have already compared both the cameras and C4 wins the race. Hey guyz. I bought this phone 2 days ago. I charged my c4 upto 79% and i unluged it. And i restart my set and i saw that battry is 13 % charged i dont know why it happens. And really its sound quality is worstest ever. Its back camera 13 mp. Its only to show but its not. I've compared its camera quality with grand which has 8 mp. Which is even showing original colours.. Its very very worst phone in the world. Even grand is better than c4. It only has a speed... Nothing more than that.

Its awesome to know that you are a user of C4 from last 6(SIX) MONTHS but you have an issue that it restarts on its own. I am using it from October and it has not restarted on its own till today. My guess would be if you switched off the phone while it was updating or if you rooted(BRICK) the phone incorrectly well that may be the case. Please be specific whether it only restarts while you try to open a particular app? Try restoring the phone to its default settings which may help. Anyways, I am wondering how did you bought C4 in May 2013 as it was released in July 2013 i.e C4 was released after 2 months of you buying the phone? Thanks for posting and making me think HOW?

I am glad to know that you are having a good experience with C4. You did said camera and processing is fast in C4 which I agree completely. And you also mentioned about the stereo sound - its a little less for you I guess. Well, the sound is enough for me because I mostly use earphones when in public and stereo is real loud with equalizer on. But, You can download an app called MX player pro(free) from torrent or playstore. What it does is that it has an option called S/W decoder and if you turn it on, you can increase the sound upto 23%(normal 13%)maximum and now the stereo sound is really loud. Hope this helps. The Best Smart phone. I am using Canvas 4 from 16th October 2013 and I have not and I am saying it again "I have not" found any flaws or cons or anything at all. My Canvas 4 runs smooth and good.
I would like to clear some misconceptions about C4. I would not use technical terms and make it simple so that everyone understands.
1. Battery: I charged it to 100% and screen locked it and kept it that way for a day with data connection ON(3G) and out of my expectation the battery still showed 87% remaining compared to other phablet. Now does this mean that battery backup depends upon a user? you decide.
2. Camera: I have a 21megapixel digital camera with auto-focus which cost 16999 rupees in 2012. Still use it and works fine. Compared to it C4 gives me crystal clear images with HDR on. Auto-focus is alright with correct positioning and images are sharp and full HD. And someone said, "at night the images are not good". I would like to say please see tutorials of how to click pictures from a smartphone. We all know - proper light, positioning and timing are the keys to beautiful pictures. You don't expect the C4 or any other smartphone to give SLR quality pictures do you? if you expect then you are NUTS or I would like to opine you to buy a SLR instead.
3. Internet : Everyone is a frequent user of internet today and to have a constant internet connection you know that network signal connection is a major dependency. I went to a hill-station on 2nd of December with C4 and two other Smartphones; "I wont take names of other brand because many of you may get offended as these are well known Big Smartphone Brands which cost helluva lot of money", Now here is a little quiz for all of you. If most of the time I had to charge my C4 because of continuous use and internet while leaving the other smartphones, which phone do you think had a better network connection? you decide!
P.S : C4 is the only smartphone after iphone which has aluminium brands covering the whole phone. Stylish enough but these are not to make a style statement but for catching better network signals and fast downloading speed as well. Worth mentioning.
4. "Micromax" the name : When you say Micromax people seems to say "No don't" and I even read some saying "BMW or Wagon R"? and some saying its an Indian/Chinese company dont go for it! Believe it or not these are the same people who have TATA/Mahindra cars like Indigo/Scorpio/Safari/Indica. Even I have a Safari so the point is ain't these companies are Indian companies? Now the above statements were for only the people who think a NAME of a foreign company is enough while I say your BRAIN is enough until you use it. So the whole point is I am happy with my C4 and Yes I am a PROUD user of C4 not because it was written on the manual but because I LOVE IT.

which is best b/w canvas4 and magnus because the processor is 1.5 ghz and the camera is 12 and 2. and a slight diference between them but canvas 4 is more costlier than magnus why. and ofcourse corning gorilla glass but still i feel its little overpriced compared to magnus why. please reply
