You want prove then look up 'wilko rainbow', 'my phone Rio v' both these phones have the exact design hardware and software specification as micromax colours, only the back cover with company names are diifferent. If you're still not convinced then look on the micromax boxes, its clearly printed 'made in china'

And yes, Chinese brands are better but they are also of low quality, maybe not in hardware (processors etc.) but their screens are Ultra-Fragile and break very very easily. Software also has many issues, my Xiaomi Mi4 Goddamn NEVER accepts touch properly and doesn't show Whatsapp or Hike Contacts and broke 12 times in last 3 months WITH A CASE!. My dad's Lenovo Yoga doesn't change to different docking angles (software doesn't accept angle change) and rarely accepts touch and rarely opens apps properly with touch.

Camera is fine but not good.
Display is good.
No (or little) lag.
Played nova 3 on it and it didn't work as good as it did on my previous phone, low fps and blurry graphics.
Settings show 2GB of RAM available but other apps show 1400mb to 700mb as available
Built quality is also very good, including the back cover.
UI... Just isn't good.

Using this phone since 20 days,totally worth buying.Trust me guys you wont regret.It looks like a premium phone.Desing build quality performance everything is up to the mark. Micromax has nailed it this time.Following are the pros and cons :
pros
1.Best display quality.Videos are pleasure watching.
2.No lags in performance
3.Brilliant camera quality (specially front cam).Dont believe the MMX haters about the poor camera quality.
4.All games running wonderfully.
5.Battery backup is also good.(easily lasts a day and more with heavy to moderate usage.
6.Premium design.i just love flaunting the curved 2.5d glass.It looks GORGEOUS.
cons
1.The back cover makes creaky noises when held firmly.it started to occur after a week of usage.(i fixed this problem by using piece of paper inside the cover to make it tight).
2.At first it took almost 4.5 hours to fully charge but astonishingly after some days the charging time decreased gradually to 3.5.(hope it decreases more futher).
No more cons found till now rather than the two above,

Mediatek over time slows down and lags while snapdragon remains the same. Xolo black would be a better choice. Xolo black has better design. Corning gorilla on both front and back. You won't find any other phones with such specs and camera. You could opt for xiaomi mi4i but it heats and lags while multitasking. So there you have it.

I restarted and the phone wouldn't start so I send it to service but it took about 3 and halfmonths and when I got my phone back from service. It was working but after some days it got hang again so I just went to local repair store and tried to get it fixed but they said all my original hardwares were missing. So I just stopped from getting it repaired and got a new phone from htc. It even happened to one of my friend's micromax phone. The phone was good only for a year and a half. If micromax want to sell their product then they should start getting serious about service and take care of their customers and putting good hardware and software plus camera. They are just making the same phone with just little upgrade. Chinese phones like lenovo k3 note, meizu m2 note, asus etc are selling more than micromax. Anyone with knowledge in technology would compare phones before buying and if they compare micromax to other chinese, the chinese phones has better features. Even though micromax is also a chinese brand

Kutty, 02 Jan 201610,0000 to 15,0000 my budgetThen you have Canvas 5 or Canvas Pulse. You also have XOLO 1X or the Yureka Plus. The best amongst all would be rated Canvas 5, then XOLO 1X, Yureka Plus and last would be Canvas Pulse 4G (out of these), else all are one of the best in class.
