Really they go down quite easily that's why nobody in the market uses trackballs anymore. It's like having a ball mouse upside down. I wish they would get us some touch sensitive thing here.

Just bought Q5 FB for Rs. 3700 + 2GB T_Flash card for Rs. 200 = 3900/- (Oct 2010). It feels heavy and solid in hands. The UI is okay. I've tried a number of Java apps on this and I've found many games/apps on getJar,Zedge etc sites. The trackball is going to be trouble but we'll have to use it minimum. Best feature of this phone is the External Speaker Sound. It's awesome. Simply beats everything in it's class. Besides I found the bundled earphones not too bad. I'll probably get a pair of sound-isolating buds. Before this I was looking for either Nokia c2-00 or Motorola EX115. But I'd a hard time finding them at local retailers. I would say Micromax Q5 fb is bang for buck(only it lasts till next October).

overall it's a hunky-dory deal. people who want to take advantage of dual sim can look forward to this phone which has a qwerty keypad & cost effective. trackball does not function that well.
a word of caution: micromax's after sales service is pathetic. so if one encounters a problem with the phone it takes 30-40 days to get it serviced if the problem cannot be rectified across the counter. so take a note of this before buying...

bujjigadu, 18 Oct 2010is this mobile supports for java gamesyes but number games that support this phone r quite limited...and also like most other java phones this will not support any 3D java games...so far i have seen that only sonyericsson fones have proper support for 3D java games...

U sure na we can open open heavy sites al th... moreOnce again i m telling you'll this phone doesn't support EDGE it only supports outdated GPRS class 12 if u don't beleive me i dont care but because u asked i thought of offering u a helping hand....but this phone has good sound quality..... if u have got another good fone and u r thinking getting a secondary phone than this one is good enough but for net purposes it just too outdated but nokia even at this price point edge class 32 compared to Q5's gprs class12 it offers upto more than thrice the speed. ..

I am thinking to buy this phone but can u answer my few questions?
1)Does it has EDGE and can I connect it with my laptop for internet..what downloading speed we get at an average?
2)I heard, we can't open heavy sites from this..is it true?
3)How is the network reception quality?
Should i go for this or Motorola E115(widin 5k)?

just as everybody even i had prob. with de track ball.
Accidentally i had found out dat if de track ball is stuck and u cant move it wet the upper surface of the track ball with very little water using ur finger then keep moving the tackball in whichever direction it is stuck for sum time.....de problem with de trackball wud be fixed within mins!!..............it seems to b an absurd idea bt trust me i really works!!!!

although a good phone but gsmarena has wrongly stated that this phone supports edge.this phone only supports GPRS class12 with a maximum speed of about 88kbps-104kbps where as the even lower priced nokia phones like nokia 2700c nokia 2690 also have support for EDGE CLASS 10 @ 236.8kbps..if u feel i m wrong then go ahead try this phone..and waste your money..however the sound quality is quite good but not even close to nokia 5130xm or anyother nokia phone..and also where is the 3D SURROUND OPTION..
