it has fm radio and also has video recorder but it dosnt support gprs
overall it is a superb phone it has nice sound clearty and it is very loud
only gprs is it drawback
else superb mobile at afforadable price

Sathee, 15 Jun 2010I planned to buy this phone, pls let me know the advantage ... morethe main drawback is that it doesn't support HSPA (3G). And Wi-Fi which it supports has very limited availability in India as of now. The camera is below par, ab it doesn't have a radio. if the aforementioned don't bother you, the phone could be considered.
It is not dual SIM phone as has been mentioned in some reviews.

it has accelometer
gps with map my india voice preinstalled (which is paid app.)
mobile shell ver 3.0 you can upgrade it to latest ver.(also paid)
it has swype keyboard which is also paid app.
3.2 screen wqvga same as samsung omnia
what else you need in just 7.5

you get everything and that too cheap- great! but this mobile is not available in store hence i had to go for an Asus windows mobile which eventually came out to be a good idea. micromax has good marketing plans - launch mobiles and make it unavailable. i have to thank the marketing and the sales head to let me choose an Asus mobile due to unavailability of this mobile

..may be some Micromax handsets need to upgrade or change or added with more attractive features and application supports.
But overall at this low cost the mobiles are fine!
Chinese phones doesnt support Java applications..do u guys know that?
Moreover some Micromax phones are bundled with Yamaha Audio Codecs..and Yamaha is a Japanese brand not a Chinese shit..got that?
I also use Nokia-N73 and i had to sent it to the service centre twice within 6 months! So..? every brand have 'pros & cons'..!

Micromax is a Good Company, produce Quality handsets. The phones are comparable to Nokia!
Nokia is no1 n it will remain no1, but Micromax is also too Good!
Its Q5, Q7 & Q55 are better than poor & dump Samsung Corby-Text phones, other Chinki phones (i mean Chinese phones!) n etc..!
u should use to believe the performance before saying some foolish hoax stories!
i'm usung Q5 n i'm very much satisfied with it!
