Check you store setting and disable 'get update only from wifi' I think I'll solve your problem cuz I was having same problem.. And now its solved.. :) good luck

Lumia 430 purchased 1 week before from a shop ₹4800. Its a good phone, handy but slight slippery. Display good, battery backup with 2 sim, with 3G, with call, with internet lasts for almost 24 hours. It has loud ringtone, good speaker and call tone, good recording, fast, no hang problem. Camera is bad, but its not at all an issue. Touch is good, call reception good, with VLC player you can play all types of vdo. Only one draw back, it has no flash light, otherwise go for this phone. Good internet speed in 3G, good Wi-Fi speed..everything is good. Those who are hesitate to buy, please dont wait, go with this. Those who are making bad comment, please dont rely on them, they are not propeely using

I have bought this phone a few days back but I have a problem to download apps from store. every time it shows pending. I m just tired of download failure. movie cant support by video apps. its a bad phone. can anyone help solving my problem.

i have microsoft lumia 430 dual sim.phone is good but I have problem with dual sim. some times phone shows one sim. when i do factory setting then only it shows dual sim.

it has got good specificans more so the storage capacity but for the camera not so much clear about the front and back (their MPS)

Is this phone reliable .. Because microsoft resellers delear says 435 is not coming anymore means company has stopped its production... And i am listening so much negetive about this phone.. So please experts help me... I have to buy phone within 2 days.....

Just bought it yesterday. Lumia 430 is a pretty decent phone, or I can say a entry-level smartphone for kids and first-time consumer.
-body/weight: quite handy and light. It make you feel like you holding a phone, not a plate. You can use it with one hand without any difficulty.
-performance: WP 8.1 make your applications run smooth. No issue so far. I tried to install bunch of apps and games. Work like charm.
-battery: I charged it up to 8 hours because I just bought it. It can endure around 18 hours. With decent battery life, I think it's good enough.
-camera: it's something you can forget. 2-megapixel rear camera is out of date. It can't even compete with some old Nokia like Nokia N70 or Nokia 6233. What a shame! Too much blur that you can only use your photo for immediate need. Front camera is also below par. I expected to be same level as Lumia 625's, but it's not.
-call/sms/notification: work as charm. clear voice and pretty loud ringtone. You can't miss a thing with it.
-overall: For around 80-buck price, you can't expect much from this model. But if you need a smartphone that you can use Facebook, Line or Whatsapp, you can go for it.
