Please friends, i was given this lumia 535 by my dad, he bought it for himself but he couldn't use it. Cos of my newness to windows phone, the issue i am having now is that i removed his sims from it to the android for him but the contacts were not with it. moreover, my sim that i also inserted too did not display its contact in it. please, how do i manouver this, cos i need to get rid of it on time. pls guys!!! thanks

Hi! I've switched from Android to Windows Phone. Some apps are not as polished as on Android, like MX Player, TTPod, Twitter etc. For video playback I've switched to MoliPlayer. On Android I used to download apps on Mac for transferring / installing to phone latter, after some search found similar option for Windows. An other problem was updating OS using PC internet connection, finally found Windows Phone Recovery, that did the job. Now only one issue left unsolved, on Android I was using Airfoil Speaker, unable to find similar app for Windows.

Phone is good upto price but not for the brand,first of all store is very very bad no playful games and useful apps
TFT display is a big draw back ,touch experience is bad.
Both camera qualities were good (up to price)

Hi Friends :) I've just switched to Lumia 535 from Droid Ultra Mini, need some help from Windows Phone experts. Can we update this device using some kind of PC Suit, like in Nokia / Ovi Suit? Can we download apps on PC and transfer / install latter on phone? Please suggest best video player and file manger for it.

Hi I got this phone 10 days back and would like to share my experience with Brand new Microsoft Lumia,
First thing is This phone is really worth for this low price but this is not as per the Expectation as it is Microsoft Brand. Even I am experiencing too many issues ,
Screen resolution will get zoomed in Automatically can not see anything and can not make it normal until I switch-off and On it again
No zooming option in Camera
Phone gets heated while Charging.
These are th major faults which Microsoft has to Fix it ASAP otherwise for sure The Brand name Microsoft will washout only because of this Mobile .
Microsoft : People have a great trust on you but you should not loose it with these kind of stuffs .
A China made mobiles may have this faults but no one can question but we never expected this from a Brand name Microsoft ...hope you understand .

Using this phone for about 15 days...and the performance is pretty good except for some apps like facebook and OneDrive...as they respond very slow...can anyone prescribe a solution?

From Nairobi, Kenya. My phone is just 2 days old. My first impression is that it is not a very user-friendly phone to use, though it came highly recommended by my son (he is a teenager, so he knows these things). I have been so used to the Android app on my former phone, but I must say that I like the aesthetic features of the phone.

siraj, 23 Mar 2015how to set ringtune from music files...pls help me! connect ur phone to ur PC/Lap then copy paste the ringtone u want into ringtone folder. now u can see that ringtone in custom list in ringtones settings.
