the lumia 540 is a good phone. i have just upgraded to the windows 10 os. so far everything seem to be working properly. the only hiccup is the pull down menu the lags a bit (not so much that it becomes annoying). to eliminate that problem i recommend that one goes for the lumia 640 which is better but have the downside of a 2Mp secondary camera. Upgrading to windows 10 gave my phone a new look. i must tell u; its wonderful so different form its predecessors.

any have idea to download apps from store. store is being like a white elephant. not downloading apps and updates.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2016Please can you tell me that does all apps work in itI am sorry but now only windows phone apps will support in Lumia or any other windows mobile 📱devices because windows is the only core processing operating system in the operating system market it means all the device either it is windows phone 📱 or windows PC or any other windows device these all have same core of processing cause Microsoft gonna make windows an universal operating system which means you don't have to develop apps for Windows Phone or any other Windows device separately just write a code once and run it on any device i.e (WORE: Write Once Run Everywhere)OS platform and In this year 2017 it shows an big impact on the application market.

I do has using this mobile from last one year and also upgraded in windows 10 as they are giving updates regularly and i am doing updates to but as 1 problems is resolved another comes, as now my mob is working proper in running state resume loading come and it get back to home screen.

I am using this phone from last 1 year after updating Windows 10 this phone become very excellent for me and second best thing of this phone is it is very strong. I dropped my phone many times but it is still working fine like i purchase it new. but for those who want to purchase new phones i suggest them go for android .

That why this platform is dead. Last advice if you want a android app than just go for a better android device from Smasung/HTC/Moto.

I still have this device and use mainly for editing docs on the go, phone/messaging and social networking. Hardware wise it is best. The problem is with WIndows 10. It comes with heavy frequency and very unpredictable. Also the worst part is the people in Microsoft service centre, they treated the customers like stray dogs. Until you visit one, you will never realize that buying a MS device is the biggest mistake of your life.
