It is only me or you think so : It seems the camera is same as the one in lumia 640 but because of Adreno 302 it only records 480p.
What is Microsoft doing ? Sorry but I think Microsoft is thickened this phone just to be thicker than lumia 640 ! because while everything seems same (except cpu) the battery is smaller than 640 and then suddenly it gets thicker with smaller battery !

Dear Microsoft, Lumia 540 is a nice phone but at the present many people focus on Camera and phone specification . Phone has more functions is great such as 13-16 Mega Pixels, clear black display, long last battery and good design..

what lumia 535 has a sucessor lumia 540
i think microsoft is going crazy they just focusing on releasing new handsets instead of focusing their windows phone os which is very limited as compare to android and ios
please stop producing these cheap device and focus on windows 10 and release it qucikly as possible
Now on lumia 540
specs are good but lacks somewhare

Camera got better same as 640 8mp
5mp front camera
bigger battery 2200mah
294 ppi

No clear black display
No corning gorilla glass
No scratch resistance glass
No glance screen
Still using 3 years old snapdragon 200
NO 720 p recording so whats the meaning of 720p dispaly and 8mp camera if it cant record 720p
so its not a sucessor its a crap device to fool customers
beacsuse of lumia 535 touch problems
If microsoft wants to remain in the game definatly needs new hardware such as snapdragon 210 or 410
so choice is yours but i recommand lumia 730 or 640

Okay, a great device, Without the proc nd chipset, I really don't see any difference between The 640 nd 540. And that's my problem.WHY?! just why didn't they put a 5mp ff cam on the 640? And these two are so damn similar?
Anyway, don't have any issues wth the phone it self, snap 200 nd a gig of ram is enough to run Windows phones smoothly.
And note: I think it has a clearblack display, if not the gorilla glass 3. Am sure of the clearblack display*

If an iPhone would cost around 150 Euro it would be the right price for one. Even a 100 Euro Lumia works just as smooth as a 1000 Euro iPhone.

almost same features of lumia 535,except the primary camera which is 8mp compared to 5mp of 535.
