Anyway personally I am using 535 and 540; but I will not advice anyone to go for windows phone. As the frequent updates make your device different and lack of apps. Recently Amazon stopped the shopping app on windows platform, I fear they will follow it with Kindle also. Overall windows phones has insecure future.

Dear it is common and pretty normal. Change your charger with other models or company and i think Huawei make better chargers. Root cause of issue is: It refects you should choose some points of voltage extra charger. like if its is 5V go for 5.5V charger and it will be resolved with no issue at all.

Pls I charged my Lumia 540 for 4hrs before using it wen i first bought it but each time I charge full n unplug d charger d battery drops down by 1% in just a few seconds pls wat is napping cos I thought d battery strength was supposed to be 2200mAhh

I've updated my Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM to Windows 10. I'm giving the phone out to a friend, and I want to delete my Microsoft account plus my Outlook email from the phone without resetting the phone. Is it possible? If yes, please guys help me with the steps to follow. Thanks

This advice is for those who are planning to buy a lumia 540 or any other windows phone
Lumia 540's 8 mp rear camera is great but camera app is the worst
Whatsapp instagram apps are pathetic and you have to be very patient
No google apps
Buy any another smartphone other than windows
If you buy windows phone you will have to jump out a window and you count on that
Don't make the same kind of mistake like me

I upgrade my lumia 540 phone to windows 10, it is bette then 8.1 and easy to use.
I have some problems
1. i can't read bangla font
2. i can't share wi fi internet by IP address
3. imo does not work properly

First, install a small app called from store called "upgrade advisor". Than run it after installation. It will show that you got upgrade to do.
Second, now start the upgrade. Do it on a fast WiFi with at least 2 GB data. It will take about 2 hours to complete the upgrade. So, either you should do in night when you will not phone anyone or remove the Sims and use it on a second phone, untill then 540 runs on WiFi.

Because I have confirmed in windows central that Microsoft has officially discontinued "FM Radio" from everyb device which got windows 10 anniversary edition. Now if your wife uses FM radio, than please don't go for windows 10 anniversary edition, I did it and lost camera and FM player.

It is the best way to remove any info on a device. Go to setting ≥ System ≥ About ≥ bottom part there is box called "Reset your Phone". The phone will ask you to confirm and than will restart. Now ask your friend to set up the way he wish.

Just I had updated my wife's lumia 540 to windows 10 last night..
It's great... after, FM is working fine, the pull down screen contains 16 notification widgets and there is an option for selfie on the main camera.. ...
And a lot more.. .
