Iam using lumia 540 dual sim for the past 3 months its a fantastic phone when compared to android in the same price range.. But the only problem is heating while connecting to WIFI and also listening music or video for 1 hour or more.. This is the only disadvantage I faced till now.. It has many advantages such as battery,camera quality(front&back), overall look,price range,volume while listening music,screen quality,UI,user friendly,move app to SD card disadvantage: over heating some apps not supported or not user friendly like in android like Share it,IMO, Gmail..

microsoft 540 it is very good phone .....battery backup is very good and not hanging problem playing games......voice clearty is very good ......

App is not updated.imo fring not supported.call recording not supported.not satisfied.very old app.please give us window 10 instead of 8.i say no to this phone.

winay, 08 Dec 2015Guys sum stupid ppl are posting timepass reviews even witho... moreHello bro I havent used lumia 540 but m using lumia 630 so I cant tell about this specific mobile bt as u asked abt android or windows I can tell u only problm with windows is that they dont have as much apps on store as android but playstore is full of bullshit apps and windows store have less but great quality apps also windows 8.1 as M using is great in any respect if comparing to android Nokia and Microsoft mobile cameras of 5MP give quality pics of about 8 or 10 or in rare cases even 12MP cameras of most androids and also using a lumia feels like its yours you can customise it as much as u want u will never get bored one more thing 512MB ram in android means you are going to face problems and same in windows will even play aphsalt game that is 790MB game poor hardware with windows means smooth uasage poor hardware with android means lagging lagging and lagging
