U must have a software and u must unlock urs phone . It's called developer unlock. To unlock urs phone u need Microsoft SDK software and u need cracked files...

for android lovers...do try this phn once and compare this phn at the same price for an android phn...yes u guys need lots of application to be installed,thats the reason u may not like the 540 microsoft,but as per lagging issues,hang problems etcc.. is not there in microsoft 540 ,at last the phone comes good package for camera too,jst try the selfie mode in 540 and the latest samsung j7 model,u look alien in android phn but u look look gud in 540 camera due to wide angle camera

Just download ringtone maker from store made by Microsoft. There you can set your favourite ringtone.

pardhu, 14 Oct 2015Can anyone say how to use mp3 or other ringtones.The normal copy paste does not work, if you are trying to put custom mp3 ring tones in your Windows Phone. You need to drag and drop the files from your PC to Phones Ringtones folder. You may need to create a "Ringtones" folder at the home folder (Along with Documents, Downloads, Music etc folders), if it does not exist.

Since its my first windows phone so its difficult to handle I use to download YouTube app thn can able to watch videos online but battery backup is best n no heatng problem.... But can anyone tell me that how to watch online videos that are not on YouTube
