The rear camera on 640 is really good though it has 1mp front camera, It's quite capable too. Also the 5 inch display is ideal for me personally. Very good to hold and operable with one hand(f you have big enough hands). It's not at all awkward. However it comes down to one's own personal choice when it comes to display sizes so theres no arguing there though overall I still think 640 is the better phone

Bcos 2 weeks ago ma frnd brought 640 and the os was wp8.1. U r wrong again.. Also 550s 5mp can has rich capture mode which 640 doesn't have . Only 950,950xl has this feature other than 550.. Kk.. One more thing wen Microsoft release 650 will u buy it over 640?? 550 is the successor of 5xx series not 6xx ..one thing was correct 550 has snapdragon 2xx and 640 has snapdragon 4xx..

550 is the latest one which running on w10 mobile..and only 4.7" display with 1.1ghz processor (processor chipset r same) 5mp main cam.. If u dont c any difference then consult a doctor..

do not buy this phone. i wish someone told how this phone is before i bought it! touch screen isnt sensitive enough when selecting things, its too sensitive when u don't want it to be. apps close themselves.phone restarts itself. app store is utter rubbish. do not waste your money!

It's not big at at all and is quite operable with one hand. Also the 640 has better chipset. Snapdragon 400 compared to snapdragon 210 found in 550
