Best phone for its time, hard to let go just for its speaker quality. Tried to switch over to a Samsung phone, but the speaker quality was POOR, so stayed with the Lumia 640,far superior quality. Only glitch is when upgraded to Windows 10,has slowed the phone somewhat. Other wise a fantastic phone for the price.

I put out with this sucker for two years. It's terrible. I dont need a lot of apps, but facebook messenger I do want. And messenger barely works on this one. So many crashes. So many factory resets.

If you have made the mistake of purchasing this phone thinking it would be like your old Nokia and that you could integrate it with your PC using PC Suite and use USB tethering, and that you would have tech support, think again. This phone is totally useless. So if you have made the mistake of buying this phone, buy a hammer, cut your losses and smash it before you waste weeks of your life trying to make it do what a phone should do. Microsoft never did provide adequate support for any of its products and has absolutely no infrastructure or know how for being in the computer hardware business. As an electronics/network engineer, I advise you to not purchase this product full stop.

I have been using this Lumia 640 LTE over 2 years, still there's no problem such as battery, Network , Internet , display, camera, and even I won't found any single problem in this phone, are you guys thinking that I will saying like mentioned above..? No man.. All things are lie that I mentioned above..I am facing lots of problem..I don't no to say in a single line.. waste of time...my friendly advice for you that don't go for Lumia not even think about Microsoft, if you wanna know the world and survive in it, please go for Android based mobiles..Thank you for valuable Time..😊

Before you buy this mobile you have these qualities
1.happy tofactory reset every day
2.happy to waste your whole day in it
3.happy to identify which problem and how it came
4.never ever throw your this mobile if you are gets exited ;)
5.you shold take this mobile to your grave find every error codes in bing not in google
6.never wonder where is my music and photos gone
These qualities and experience i had 1week experience with lumia950xl life is too short dont waste your life with these peoples.. Chose an android and make your life more easier

Don't get this phone!!! When using internet explorer, it reloads page repeatedly. When using apps, it sometimes goes back to home page or menu without command. It deletes emails. When watching videos, it cancels out until you have to reload the page. When using Facebook Messenger, you can't receive and make calls. The keyboard is sometimes nonresponsive and autocorrect goes in and out while typing. It's been a headache since I got this phone.

It may be to do with settings but I can't get it to stay in Facebook keeps dropping out after a few seconds or minutes especially mid-comment or post. Anyone know a remedy for this?

Had 640 LTE for 2 years. Great phone and updated to windows 10 it's is even better. Great battery life and intuitive interface. Had android phones before and the windows os is head and shoulders about those.

Using this phone for 2 yrs ...now the screen shows purple lines in it...anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of these...already done reset and the phn is on 8.1 sw

I have been Lumia 640 LTE user for years.
Although the phone and UI is good, but the latest development on this platform reflects its bleak future.
Unless you don't mind the diminishing Windows Apps store, I would advice to go Android or iOS.

Hate this phone. Apps disappear, search for answers, try everything suggested, it never works................
